He won't

Nagising ako sa malamig na ihip ng hangin. Hindi parin pala talaga ako sanay pagkatapos ng ilang taon. Bumuntong hininga ako.

Tumayo ako at hininaan ang aircon na nagsisilbing hanging habagat sa bawat pagtulog ko, sa bawat araw. I just hate the cold feeling it given to me since I had this room. Napatingin ako sa orasan malapit sa malaking salamin sa taas ng drawer ko. It's 5:30 am and I think it's time to do my daily routine.

I went to the bathroom and do my rituals. After that, I dressed up with my cream off shoulder top and black skirt. I also put my cream stellito heels and a little bit of make up.

I posted a note on the refrigerator to tell papa that I'm heading to school since it's Saturday and it's a big day.

I immediately texted Leo that I'm on my way to school. Agad din naman syang nagreply.

Leo:

Okay. Have fun, alright? I'm going home maybe these weekend.

Nagtipa agad ako ng sagot.

Ako:

I will. And please enjoy what you're having there. Huwag kang magmadaling umuwi para lamang sa'kin.

Nilabas ko na ang susi ko at agad pumasok sa sasakyan ko. I stepped on the gas and headed to school.

Nang makapagpark na ako ay tsaka ko lang naramdaman na nagvibrate ang cellphone ko. Tinignan ko ang mensahe ni Leo.

Leo:

Well, you can't blame me. I miss you. I wish I was there.

Ito talagang lalaking 'to. Napailing iling ako. At tsaka nagtipa ng sagot.

Ako:

I miss you, too but don't worry too much. I'm okay here.

Nasa Singapore kasi siya para sa isang bussiness meeting. He was accelerated kaya noong nakaraang taon ay nakagraduate agad siya at nakapagtrabaho sa kumpanya ng kanyang ama. I don't know what damn spell he did to that test.

I was supposed to be the Valedictorian here but there he is, graduated and have a successful life while I'm still stuck in my last year in college.

Pumasok ako sa aming paaralan at agad kong nakita ang mga taong nagmamadali at parang hindi mapakali. I know what's going on because it's a big day. It' our foundation week and today, a famous and successful bachelor will visit our school.

It's not new to me. Every year, may mga bumibisitang importante at malalaking tao sa iskwelahan namin. Our school on the other side, is very famous so expected that many visitors will come here every year or month.

Pagpasok ko sa silid ay agad akong nilapitan nila Christine. Napaisip ako. I'm glad that they stayed with me all these years. Mabuti at nagawa pa nilang manatili sa tabi ko sa kabila ng lahat ng kabaliwan na nagawa ko noon.

"Sammy! We've heard na pupunta daw mamaya yung bachelor from Montenegro Hotel Estates? Nabalitaan mo din ba?" Tanong ni Christine. I just nodded. Hearing that surname gave bits of pain even if I know it's not him.

"Sabi nila'y gwapo daw yon! Maputi at well-defined ang hubog ng katawan! Gosh! I'm imagining him pero naglalaway na agad ako!" Angel almost screamed.

"But he has a rumoured girlfriend, ah? Long-time fiancé niya nga daw 'yon." Kathryn suddenly interrupt.

"Bachelor that has a rumoured girlfriend? That's new, huh?" Krishna chuckled.

"Pero baka malay niyo, hindi naman totoo! Rumoured lang! Baka naman malandi lang talaga si girl?" Angel insist.
