Louis and Harry still hadn't left the field and were currently sitting across from each other in the damp grass. After admitting to Louis that he cared for him, Harry wanted to know more about the boys life, and surprisingly Louis was willing enough to tell him.

'What's your mum do?' Harry asked while grasping the grass in his hands and pulling it out of the ground. When Louis didn't answer, Harry looked up to see a mix of anger and pain in Louis's eyes. 'Louis-'

'You know the only reason i'm telling you all this shit is because after this week this little "friendship"' Louis put air quotes with two fingers around the word and then continued. 'It'll be as though it never existed. If you told someone all this stuff, they would wonder how you found out and you'd have no choice but to tell them the truth, and if that happens, i'll break every bone in your body.' Louis's tone suddenly turned harsh and Harry wondered if maybe his family was a sensitive topic. He couldn't deny it, after Louis said that he felt quite hurt actually. It felt as though a lump had grown in his throat and he was struggling to find air. His eyes met Louis's, and when he saw the guilty look on Louis's face he knew the boy was able to tell his words left an impact. 'Look...I didn't mean that.'Louis started apologizing and placed a hand on Harry's shoe. 'You know we can't be friends after this, and it would just be better if no one knew.' Louis said sincerely and so Harry nodded. When Louis removed his hand from Harry's foot, goose bumps raised on his arms and he couldn't help but long for that simple touch again. 'Anyway's you asked about my mum..'

'Tell me about your whole family.' Harry said with a smile which made Louis raise his eyebrows. 'Really! I want to know what the Tomlinson house is like. Where does your cockiness and attitude come from? Nobody is born that much of a prick!' A laugh followed this but Louis just gave a weak smile and shrugged. 'C'mon Louis, I won't judge you. And like you said, who do I have to tell?'

'You really want to know the truth? What my family really is like?' Louis tested and was surprised when Harry nodded his head. He took a deep breath and then started;

'I'm the oldest of the bunch. If i'm going to be honest, i'm the family's rock. The only thing keeping that circus together. Next to me is my sister Charlotte, but we call her Lottie and she's a trouble maker. Always going out and finding something to get herself in trouble. I've had to pick her up from the holding cell in the police station four times, but god do I love that kid.' Louis rolled his eyes at the times he has woken up to a phone call from the police.

'Felicite is the next oldest, but she goes by Fizzy. She's also someone who keeps the family together. Without her, I don't know what I would do. She's kind of like a motherly figure for all the children honestly. Fizzy's one one of the greatest people you could ever meet. She's the glue.'

'Then we have the twins one and two. Daisy and Phoebe. I don't know what goes through those kids minds. Phoebe's really outspoken and crazy...like really crazy, and Daisy's quite quiet and likes to keep to herself. Both of them are really smart though and have huge hearts.'

'Last of the kids are twins three and four. Ernest and Doris. Only born a few months back. Cutest little babies you've ever seen. They were born early so they are quite small, but luckily they are actually well behaved. They don't cry to much which is surprising considering they have to live in that circus.'

The way Louis's smile grew bigger and his eyes lit up when he talked about all the kids made Harry's heart pound. He could tell the lad really cared about his family which was a good quality for someone to have. 'Louis they all sound great!' Harry commented which made Louis flash a proud smile.

'And then there's Dan and Jay. My "parents".' Again, Louis made air quotes around this word and rolled his eyes. 'The only day Dan isn't completely wasted is a day we have footie. And on those days, hes hung over. Any other day you'll find him drunk out of his mind.' Louis's voice didn't sound as proud this time, and his pink lips didn't form into a smile. 'After my real dad died, my mum found Dan right away and started drinking just as much as him. She's only drunk every second day of the week though. The other days hung over.' Louis was gritting his teeth at this point and Harry could tell that this was making him angry, and so he did the first thing that came to mind. He reached across and grabbed Louis's hand in his. Louis's eyes looked up from the ground quickly to meet Harry's. Harry just smiled and then squeezed Louis's hand, hoping the lad wouldn't pull away. He quite liked the feeling of the boys's smaller hand in his. It gave him a funny feeling that he couldn't describe. And so he was even happier when Louis squeezed his hand back and kept on talking.
