"In the middle of some.. deep ass shit... alright..." Lin Kai nodded. I laughed, feeling the weight which was previously pressing down against me, lift off my shoulders.

"So... what exactly are we?" He asked as he helped me up.

"A couple," I said without a sign of hesitation at all. Lin Kai's eyes widened, before a smile was soon plastered on his face.

"An imperfect couple, both with scars," I whispered.
