Taking in the ineffable hue,
Time pauses; the sun is on due
Looking up, I see a clear blue sky,
For I stay put— didn't have the urge to hide.

I sit still, gazing at the light
It's an everyday affair, yet it's somewhat still a beautiful fright
Closing my eyes, let the tranquil scatter
I hear obnoxious noises, but it wouldn't matter.

Observing from my veranda— I suspect
Every inch that surrounds me turns dead
Now it's just me, still on my seat
I close my eyes once again, and yet I still endured the heat.
