I followed the clearing into a pine forest;
Quickly I sprinted through the crusty leaves
Making my way down on a narrow path,
Where yellowish bushes I stumbled.

I unraveled into a large-plotted prairie,
For the sunlight sprinkled me bewildered
I shaded my eyes with my right hand,
And I watched the scene— fervently.

The birds started to migrate, down to the south,
Thinking their plan, state, and whereabouts
I ran through the tall dunes; its leaves kissed my skin,
Taking a deep breath whilst I touched its fringe.

I ran and ran until I stumbled the grasslands,
Surely but in a fast pace, I laid down on the plants
Taking in the space— my feet patted the ground,
The prairie I've once enjoyed— its belle now I fervidly found.
