A slice of chocolate cake for you, my love,
To whom I admirely appeal
The sweetness, softness— the gorgeous, appealing stature,
And the aftertaste that I passionately nurtured.
The fork that I softly sliced through the moist cake,
Just like our love— hereby served and perfectly baked
The blissful aroma that scattered through all parts,
May it partnered up with a delectable tart!
The icings on top of this precious gift,
Must be consumed for our passionate hearts
We can share this bounty to make us lift,
As we set in our fresh, new start.
However, just like this sweet cake— it'll get expired
Time'll pass as the sweetness will be gone
I wish I can bring back the yesterday when everything's fond—
And hope that all parts will again function pretty right.
