Give me a reason to choose,
To glance, to check, to snoop
To test, cherish, and appreciate—
All the benefits of this grace.

Give me a reason to enjoy,
To feel dandy, happy, and approachable
To find the ample liquid to fill this shallow heart,
And make my flower and the sunshine to abut.

Give me a reason to live,
To breathe, inhale, and exhale
To continue my life with or without hail,
To choose what's right and be happy.

A gust whispered to my soul—
Sometimes glimpsing the stars wasn't even reasonable
Although ourselves— being aroused and induced,
To withdraw the brewing steam coming from our blues.
