Milan looked at Karis, confusion written all over her face. It was almost as if she was looking in a mirror. A real-life doppelganger, the two stared at each other with deep confusion and a pinch of anger.
Bianchi pulled the gun from Tobias' hand and placed it in the band of his waist. "Pull a piece on my woman again and you won't live to see another day,"
Ashton pulled Karis behind him, Nate growling softly causing Tobias to look at him weirdly.
Lolsa scoffed, "You and I both know that gun wasn't there to intimidate me, what do you want Tobias."
Tobias rolled his sparkling blue eyes, smirking. "You're a little spitfire aren't you, you remind me of someone," he said looking to his right. "Don't she remind you of someone Ashton...Nate?"
Tobias spun round to look at Karis, "Don't you try anything. Wouldn't want anything happening to your lover and I'm not talking about Johnson or Hartijay, whatever you call yourself" he motioned toward Nathaniel.
Lolsa's husband had bought her to a gala "for business" he said, "not important he said", his ex-fiance who just so happened to be the spitting image of her just so happened to be here. Just so happened to be a dear friend that he had failed to mention, she knew his ex-finance existed but she didn't know who she was.
Karis peered at Lola like she was an orange peel or a broken nail, she couldn't tell the difference.
Lolsa was sure the man in the black Armani suit and gold bow tie that matched her look alike's attire hadn't blinked while he stared at her, he appeared rich in every way, its the way his skin shone against the diamond chandelier as if they were old friends. His skin, slightly tan, toned chiselled features and silky brown locks. He was extremely attractive and it seemed he was with her doppelganger with how close he stood next to her.
"What are the odds," Tobias looked around the perfect circle, Karis glared at him.
"No harm will come to anyone tonight," Nate muttered loud enough for everyone to hear, "Or you will all suffer," he said glaring at Karis' hand inching towards her thigh.
Karis' eyes meet Ashton's twitching in anger and deep turmoil he couldn't begin to comprehend how calm everyone was. He didn't know what the fuck was going on. He felt utterly out of the loop and for once in his life he felt like he didn't know who Karis or Nate truly was.
