Karis stared at herself in the mirror her little pink cashmere jumper tightly tucked into her skater skirt. White knee high socks, she felt 18 again. Like the problems around her didn't exist it was just a dream, a drama-filled dream.
Her family home bought back all the nostalgia of a simpler time, before Ashton-James and Nate before Peyton and -
"Hey" she looked behind her away from the mirror,
"You okay there," she nodded
"Just a little tired"
Rowan beamed, the red tinge she had glowed against the darkest of lighting and her obsidian 4a hair that she passed to her trio.
"Is there something you're not telling me about, or someone"
"No, no... Karis shook her head, "Far from it."
Rowan, pushed a pin into Karis' hair, "So no Troi."
Karis frowned, "He has his own problems to deal with."
"I'm here if you need me."
"Rowan, Karis. It's time to go", Tarah walked into the foyer joining the women.
"Mom I think I might sit this one out."
Tara shook her head, "You promised me, Kari,"
Karis mom was gorgeous she always wore her hair bone straight and it sat perfectly on her dark shoulders. She passed all her best genes to her children especially her deep dimples and light eyes.
"I know, but I can't deal with all that drama"
"Your dad would be upset if you didn't come."
"If you feel any worst you can leave" Rowan butted in, "The fresh air would be good for you,"
