Karis turned around and Teddy had appeared as soon as moved Troi was standing in his place
"Karis is this what we're doing now, we're done for good?" Troi spoke behind her, " I didn't think you would give up this easily."
"I have nothing to say to you," she turned to him, a sad smile pulling at her lips.
"Are we together?" He whispered. " It doesn't feel like we are anymore. I can't remember the last time, you let me touch you, I just want you to know that I never wanted it to end this way," He took her hand into his, "You deserve better than me someone who supports you."
"Troi-"
"Let me finish," he kissed her hand, "You need to sort yourself out, your feelings have been all over the place and I haven't been completely honest with you, I know exactly who you are, Skai. I know about your ex-fiancee, I was at the wedding actually. I know about your training - She snatched her hand away, "Who are you?"
"Your guardian angel."
"You need to get away from me," she pushed his hands away causing a few stray eyes to catch the altercation.
He pulled her arm towards him, "I know what weapons you have on you, You don't have to make a scene. If I was going to kill you I would have done it a long time ago."
"You lied to me,"
"So did you," smiling he pushed a hand over his head of curls, "What we had wasn't fake, it was real. I have feelings for you I just can't love a woman who loves another man,"
"You cannot tell me who I love"
"Your eyes can,"
"Who are you, Troi. If that is your name."
"It is, you have met my sister and my family. All of that is real. We're more alike than you think we are."
"Why are you telling me this" she whispered, she looked at him and at this point she has truly lost her touch.
Whatever she was running from had to stop now, she had to return to her old ways. If it meant keeping Ashton she would. Keep him safe always.
"Because I like to have people in my pocket."
"How do you know you can trust me," she pushed him away from her, "Because you can trust me," he grinned like a Cheshire cat, she rolled her eyes.
"Because you can trust me," he repeated, "Like I said if I really wanted to kill you I would have and Peyton too."
"What do you know of Peyton?" she gasped. Who the hell was this man and why did he know more than she did. How could she have been so foolish someone had infiltrated her life and she didn't even suspect it. She was losing her reputation too interested in weighing up her feelings and whose cock was better in her unsuspecting head.
"Too much to talk about in public"
"What do you know?"
"I told you what I know,"
"Not enough"
"Be specific"
"About Bianchi?"
"I don't work with him or any of that. I don't have the kind of information you are looking for. I don't know what you're looking for."
"How do you know I'm looking for something?"
"Because of your mentor, I know him. Worked for him a few times. He told that he'll be expecting us soon.
