Karis' Pov
"Miss Grey-Lowe" I spun around, and met familiar curly dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. Jack wore the usual uniform and his name tag shone proudly against the subtle light of the lobby.
"Just Grey" He handed me the card that I'm guessing came with the bouquet of yellow trollius in his hand. "Would you like me to put the flowers in water?"
I clutched the note in my hand, the words running through my mind repeatedly.
See you tonight, flower, Ti aspetterò pazientemente" (I will wait for you patiently.)
Jack returned clutching another card, Mr Alejandro King says he misses you, the message sent was also sent with flowers to your room" he paused as if he had suddenly lost his footing, " An assortment of peonies are in your living area"
I haven't seen Ashton in two days since we returned from Italy, he has been fixing his favourite bar. I think he blames me for what happened. Someone could have been seriously hurt. Tobias has played his cards now we must play ours.
"Thank you, Jack"
I handed Jack the crumpled, "Would you like the Note, Mrs Grey?"
"No, Jack place the all flowers in some water and burn the note. I'll deal with the others. If there are any problems give them to Joseph Flector."
"Burn it?"
"Yes"
"Don't you... want to know who it is from?"
"Burn it, Jack"
Jack looked at his phone and then back up to me "Miss Grey your car is here, have a nice evening. You look amazing by the way."
"Thank you, Jack and the same to you."
Jack kindly guided me to the limo not that I needed the help but I was grateful he made sure I had my seat belt on before he had shut the door, I had bulked up my own private security. Since Tobias had attacked Ashton's beloved bar. If Tobias was going to attack me he knew not to attack me alone.
The building was dressed in white cloth, the Romanesque structure had Hollywood styled lights surrounding the building. Red carpets leading to the door and flashing lights surrounding me making it hard to blink.
"Karis you look Amazing" Mrs Hastings cornered me at the door, I know I have to be cautious around the members of her family. I know what the Hastings are planning to do and I need to get me and Ashton out of this as soon as possible.
