Cai texted Maine that she has a meeting on event management thus she cannot help her prepare for her dinner with Richard. This is partly true,she is indeed going to handle an event on the Cruise but earlier, she and Kate decided to let Maine figure things out on her own - just for the night. That moment that she decided to bake for Richard is a tell tale sign for Kate, her BFF is falling in love - for real this time.

Maine tried to call Kate but figured she will be in chemo so instead she called her Tita Margo. Growing up with her Tita Margo was a delight, she is her favorite Tita as a kid. She was a widow with no children, she raised Maine as her own child. Tita Margo is a modern Mom, so to speak, she allowed Maine to do whatever she wants, even encourage her to go on dates and socialize some more. When Maine started working as Sous Chef for Bellevue, Tita Margo gave Maine her own condo unit and told her that she should learn to be independent.

Despite having her own place, Maine still frequents Tita Margo's place in the South. They talk about Maine's work, friends and relationship. Maine can feel that her Tita Margo doesn't like Troy and vice versa. It took a month into their relationship before Troy agreed to meet with her Tita Margo. When they broke up, Maine stayed at her Tita Margo's house for two days - Kate was undergoing chemo and Maine pretended that her Tita Margo needs her. Maine told Tita Margo everything - even the PanStar Cruise wherein she is supposed to give herself to Troy. Just like Kate, her Tita Margo admitted that she doesn't like Troy and that she should take the Cruise, maybe things will change after this Cruise, her Tita Margo said...and indeed, things are rather changing. She dialed her Tita Margo's number, she hates video chat or viber and prefers that Maine talks to her on the phone - old school.

TM: Yes anak? Magtatampo n ako ha almost a week kang hindi tumatawag!

M: Hala sorry po..

TM: Hmmmmmmm...balita ko kasi may nakilala daw na Jack si Rose eh.

M: OMG grabe kayo ni Kate sa akin!!!

TM: Sorry nasa Manila kasi ako dinala ko si Nini sa Vet nya ayun dinalaw ko si Kate sa house nila and nagkwentuhan kami about our favorite girl!
