At the Captain's Suite

Capt. Faulkerson Sr left and then Richard came back wearing the same polo; Maine fixed the sleeves and made fun of how his biceps are coming out from it...

R: Grabe ka sa akin...ahhh san na si Dad?

M: Uhhmmm umalis na eh...kain ka na!

They ate breakfast and Richard noticed that Maine is a bit fidgety than usual; she is anxious about something. Instead of talking to her, Richard hold her hand and started to feed her pancakes with strawberry slices, she smiled at him.

After breakfast, still holding her hand, Richard guided her into a private room; it has bluegreen wall and a podium. Richard told her that it is one of my three function rooms of the Upper Deck and they can talk privately at Rosario Function Room.

R: Okay ako na mag start ha...I know it's only been three weeks but Maine, we have this connection and I have a feeling that we met for a reason...

M: Reason? Destiny?

R: Yes..but for me it's more like...ahhhh wag na nga...

M: Ano nga?

R: mamaya ko na sasabihin...ikaw naman, daya mo din eh (pinches her nose)

M: Okay...here's my take on our situation...when you saw me at the Airport, I wasn't exactly a damsel in distress but I was really very fragile at the time, you know naman the situation right?

R: Yeah you were supposed to take the Cruise with your ex and then weeks before this, you caught him with his Intern doing it...

M: But I did not tell you that...that...we were supposed to have our first time here...I almost agreed to his stupid notion...because for me at the time that would fix everything...

R: Hey, it's okay now... (hugs a sobbing Maine)

M: You know what, tama si Kate, I am in love with the concept of love! Feeling ko kasi wala nang ibang magmamahal sa akin pag nawala si Troy...and when I caught him and his intern parang nawasak ang mundo ko...am I really not good enough?

After that I went directly to Tita Margo, I cannot go to Kate kasi may chemo pa siya and I don't want her to see me crying...and you know what's worst? Troy didn't even bother to run after me, it's like he's relieved na wala na ako sa buhay nya...

R: and you do not deserve someone like that Maine.

M: I paid for half of the Cruise just so Troy will agree to join me...I almost sold my ticket but since everything's ready na and as Kate advised, I took it upon myself to go on this Cruise to clear my head...

R: See...this is what I want to tell you Maine.. you were broken at time that we met and I was damaged...both of us feel na we were not good enough to be loved on return but then this happened...I came alive when I saw you Maine and as cheesy as it sounds...it feels like God gave me you...

Richard wiped her tears and then kissed her...deep and longing kiss. Maine kissed him back but she broke the kiss to ask him

M: so...where do we go from here Apprentice Captain Faulkerson Jr?

R: Well...I already made my intentions clear, manliligaw ako and will wait for your sweet Yes....I want us to be together Maine...ituloy n natin ito...

M: Even if I am still picking myself up?

R: I will be here to help you Maine...I will never leave you...

M: eh manliligaw ka pa lang di ba?

R: yes.

M: Eh bakit nakakaraming halik ka na???

R: That I cannot explain...teka, isa pa nga...

And he kissed her again! They were laughing like kids...Maine is more relax now as her arms are around his neck...

R: Well Miss Maine, it seems that we cannot stop kissing...so might as well let it be part of the deal...

M: What deal?

R: That you will allow me to court you, spoil you and treat you like a Princess...no expectations... but I would like to keep the kissing part....

M: Fine...but hanggang kiss lang ha!

R: Yes Ma'am....

And they kissed for the nth time until Maine told Richard that she is tired and would like to take a nap at her Suite. Richard walked her to the Suite and told her that he will be back later to fetch her for dinner.

As soon as Maine is alone in her suite, she sent a message to Kate and Cai via Viber...

Girls...I took the plunge...details later, let's have a video chat at 5pm, rest muna ako...
