Richard, Rodjun, Chris and Jerald had been friends since Junior Year in highschool and they all decided to take up Marine Engineering and then work on being a Captain of the Ship.
As they started to work on their careers to be a Captain, Richard stayed with his Father at PanStar Cruise. Jerald also stayed with Asian Cruise as he was attending to his Mother who suffered from cancer and died three years ago. Rodjun and Chris went for the European Cruise and that is how Rodjun met Dianne, a Stage Actress on the Cruise. They have been together for five years and got engaged two years ago - they opted for the long engagement as she is still supporting her siblings.
Chris on the other hand was not able to move on from his break up with High school sweetheart Joyce. He is often being teased in the group as "Father Chris". Chris and Rodjun invited Richard to join them in the European Cruise but they were so stunned when Richard told them that he will decline the job offer - just after a month when he met...Maine!
