Dedicated to the Demures who came up with the story prompt for this one, it was a boring Holy Week and this one came to mind - what if RJ works on a Crew Ship and meets Maine...and the rest is history, I came up with the characters and story layout while the rest of the Demures help me research about Cruise Ships and other stuff...love you all my equally Demure and Innocent Sisters!  😘

Again...work of fiction, some technicalities only work in my Alternate Universe...please allow me certain liberties to deliver a beautiful story.

At the Cemetery...
A day before Richard's Secret Meeting

Richard is carrying a bouquet of daisies, lilies and pink gerbera - her Mother's favorite. He also brought candles and lighted them up as he said a prayer and talk to his Mother.

"....Ma, alam ko na masaya ka for me, eto yung ring mo oh, ibibigay ko ito kay Maine! I hope she will accept! Alam mo Ma, I never thought that I could love again, medyo masakit ang unang pag ibig ko...pero alam mo ba Ma, kilala mo n pala si Maine kasi nagkita na kami nung bata pa kami ikaw pa nga ang nag console sa kanya noon... nakakatuwa di ba..."

"Because of Dad's love and devotion sa iyo Ma, naniniwala ako na I will be a good husband to Maine...Lola and Riza adores her and she has a good heart, anyway Ma, if she says yes to me, dadalin ko siya dito para makilala mo...I need to go po, wish me luck...love you Ma..."

Richard's Secret Meeting with Tita Margo

TM: Whoa....ang galing ha! At talagang dadalin mo dito ang Cruise Ship???

R: Swerte lang po talaga...every five years nag d disembark po dito ang PanStar Cruise, part po ng agreement yun.

TM: At sino pa ba ako para humadlang eh si unibers na ang gumagawa ng paraan!!!

R: Tita...may isa pa po...eto po.

TM: What's this? (Opens an envelope)

R: Yan po ang Floor Plan ng bahay na pinapagawa ko sa Nuvali...matagal na po akong nag invest diyan pero nung sinagot ako ni Maine, tinawagan ko po yung Broker ko para bilin na yan and mag start n ng Construction.

TM: You are building a house for my daughter?

R: Yes po...hindi po siya kasing laki ng mansion ninyo pero good place po yan for a family of five...or more...bk po next year p yan matapos pero we can stay naman po sa condo unit ko.

TM: Oh my goodness Richard...halika na, tawagin natin si Maine ipapakasal ko na kayo!

R:Hala Tita...sayang po ang plans ko!

TM: Joke lang...wala din ang Daddy mo at saka di pa ako nagpapagawa ng gown!!!

After that clandestine meeting,Richard spent the rest of his day at the Main Office of Naval Academy - wherein his Dad is a Silent Partner. He called Maine and asked her if she's available for dinner.

Richard took Maine to La Marina, a floating Restaurant at Manila Bay. The sunset is so beautiful - so is Maine in her yellow dress.

M: Earth to Richard....
