Maine was awaken by Richard kissing her bare shoulders; right, last night was the Induction Ceremony and today they will have lunch with Tita Margo.
M: Honey....what time is it?
R: We overslept a bit...7:30 am...
M: Ohhhh....let's have breakfast na...
R: Im' having mine na.... (kisses her shoulders some more)
M: Real food na...alam mo namang gutumin ako...ouch...
R: Hey bakit...ano masakit?
M: Really you're asking me? Im' so sore kaya... buhat mo ako...
R: Alright eto na naman po ang three years old Maine...up...up...
Maine takes a shower while Richard prepares their breakfast - bacon, eggs and pancakes with strawberry slices. She steps into the kitchen in her white pants and royal blue top with her hair down.
R: Gorgeous....come on let's eat na? What are your plans aside from our lunch with Tita Margo?
M: Well, I will shop for some necessities malapit n din kasi ung Singapore trip ko d b? The Internship for my Management Course...
R: Right....honey, next week aalis na din ako...
M: Yes....oh my...first time natin apart since the Cruise...
R: but we are doing this for the future di ba? And we have responsibilities to our families din...
M: Yes...you know what, Im' glad you didn't take the European Cruise offer...
R: Eh kasi I met this woman...game changer eh!
M: ieeee.....
They went shopping at Ayala Mall, Maine bought some new formal wear and toiletries. Richard loves how frugal she is despite her status in life, she doesn't mind repeating her wardrobe or borrowing bags from her Tita Margo or even Kate.
Lunch at the Mendoza Mansion was a breeze, Tita Margo served her version of Paella Negra. Tita Margo has a very specific request though - that Maine will spend Monday to Wednesday at the Mansion and Thursday to Friday with Richard before her flight to Singapore.
M: Ay may sharing....why Tita Margo?
TM: Im' gonna say it outright ha...kasi feeling ko may kahati n ako kay Maine and I missed spending time with my anak...sorry Richard ha pero kasi n m miss ko din yung kami lang ni Maine...
R: No problem Tita...understood naman po! Kahit naman po ako pag nandito si Maine nandun po ako sa Lola ko, pero pinapagalitan naman ako kasi di ko daw po dinadalaw si Maine!
M: Yes! Ang lakas ko talaga kay Lola!
TM: so...okay lang Richard ha? Maine?
R: Yes po...
M: Yes Tita Margo...
The days went on so fast, Maine and Richard are still calling each other from Monday to Wednesday, they said that it is their "practice" for the upcoming weeks. For Thursday and Friday, the decided to stay in her unit and she helps him in his luggage. Maine is sitting like a little girl in his suit case refusing to give him access to it.
R: Honey....titignan ko lang naman kung ano mga nilagay mo...
M: Bawal...covered na! Wala naman akong nilagay n illegal diyan or anything..
R: Eh bakit ayaw mo ngang ipakita...
M: Secret....
As Maine is guiding the suit case like a Mother Hen, she removed her top and tossed it to Richard and he ended up carrying her to the bedroom... (check out the Chocolate Lava Cake Book later for this special chapter)
Saturday Morning
Maine is up and early as she prepares the breakfast, Richard's flight is at 2pm; with a heavy sigh, she woke him up and they ended up showering together before breakfast. As they were having breakfast, Maine is extra clingy and is sitting at Richard's lap while refusing to eat.
R: Hay naku...you have to eat...
M: Eh kasi aalis ka na mamaya tapos ako bukas...
R: Hey, we talked about this na...kaya natin ito right?
M: Yes....pero dito ka lang muna...
R: Okay...mamaya na tayo aalis dito...hmmmm ang bango2 naman oh...
They stayed that way for an hour until Richard needs to get ready. Maine told him that she prepared his OOTD...as soon as he got inside the room, Richard shrieked...
R: Maine!!! Really? This FLORAL polo????

R: Hay susmio....hindi ba pwedeng all black?
M: Masyado kang hot dun...yan ang isusuot mo hanggang Japan!
R: Okay knkabahan ako sa luggage ko baka puro floral at pink ang damit ko dun ahhh...
M: Basta!!!
R: Okay na Honey....kahit pagtawanan ako nila Ate Ann, Ate Chez at Ate Carla...lalong lalo na si Ate Carla, isusuot ko ito...
M: Very good! Let's leave in 15 minutes? Mag d drive si Eric for us...
R: Okay.
At the Airport, people were indeed, looking rather fascinated at Richard's flora shirt, good thing she allowed him to bring his jacket. When it was time for his flight to board, he kissed Maine passionately, nevermind his floral top nor the crowd looking at them..
R: See you soon Maine...I love you.
M: I love you too Richard...
And there it goes...Maine refuses to cry as she wants Richard to see her smilling before he leaves. She called for Nita to help her walk and told Eric to bring her to Kate's house.
