The day for Peter Parker started at six in the morning. He woke up and put his suit on stretching his body out as he got ready for his morning rounds. Peter, now Spider-Man, lifted his window up ever so slowly. Aunt May, unfortunately, was a light sleeper. Sneaking in and out late at night or early in the morning was difficult to say the least. As he exited his bedroom window he held onto the wall, swinging his body out. He shut the window gently before leaping from the side of the building and shooting a web out, swinging through his morning route.

Peter shut the window with ease as he started to take off his suit. He stood in the room with his Spider-Man suit around his ankles. He kicked it up with his foot and caught it, using his web shooter to grab his backpack from across the bedroom. He shoved the suit at the bottom of his bag and piled his binders and textbooks on top of it. Peter zipped his back up and got dressed quickly in a pair of jeans and his school sweatshirt. He thread his earbud up his sweater and put his phone in his jeans pocket, he left his bedroom in a dash, closing the door behind him. Aunt May sat in the living room with a recipe book on her lap, a puzzled look on her young face. "What do you say we have lasagna with butternut squash for dinner tonight?" She asked her nephew as he came in. Peter was in a rush and he hadn't really payed attention to his aunt. "Peter?" She questioned. Peter stopped in his tracks, looking at May with wide eyes "huh?" "I asked if you wanted lasagna tonight. With some butternut squash maybe?" Peter nodded. "Yeah, yeah sounds good" Peter knew his aunt would butcher the recipe it he saw no harm in trying even if it meant he had to try her food. "Can you pick up a squash on your way home?" May asked. Peter nodded again, reaching for the doorknob. "Thank you, have a good day kiddo" May waved to peter as he left the apartment.
Peter put his earbuds in his ears and pressed play on his ever growing playlist.

Peter stepped off the bus with his backpack pulled beside him, he took out his fathers old camera and put the strap around his neck. He had gotten into the habit of taking pictures around the school as a way to kill time between classes. He fixed his backpack and put his cameras viewfinder up to his eye, he took a few pictures of the school as he walked to the blue doors. Once inside he dodged his way through the crowded hall to get to his locker. Ned Leeds stood by locker number 394 waiting for his best friend to arrive. They greeted each other with their infamous handshake. "I got The Last Jedi on bluray last night. Wanna watch it tonight?" Ned asked. Peter opened his locker and put one of his textbooks for an after noon class on the shelf, he pulled out his chemistry textbook for his first period class and put it in his backpack zipping it up quickly before anyone could see inside. "Aunt May is trying to make lasagna tonight, By all means come join us. Maybe she'll order us a pizza if you're there" Peter let out a laugh, shutting his locker. "At least it's not a casserole this time, your aunt May always makes casseroles" peter nodded in agreement.

Peter and Ned took their seats in chemistry, due to the amount of excessive chatting between the two of them, their teacher split them up. Ned sat at the first work bench while peter sat at the very last one in the back of the lab. The brunette pulled out his notes and began jotting down the things the teacher had put up on the board. Schooling came easy for Peter Parker, he had top marks in almost all his classes. Though he had a bit of trouble in P.E at the beginning, his powers helped with that. He didn't really have to try anymore but he found that he was getting noticed by his fellow peers more when he would outshine Flash Thompson . His job was to keep a low profile and being a nerd helped out a lot. It's not everyday you see the nerd outrun the star athlete of the school. So instead of trying to be good in gym class, he tried to be moderately successful. Coming in sixth place in the mile races, getting to one minute on the wall sit, getting knocked out third in dodge ball and only being able to get one foot of the ground when doing the rope climb. He also pretended he knew nothing about self defence when the specialty course was being taught.

His powers took a lot of getting used to, he found that things were easier in general but little things like opening a door seemed like a hassle. His sometimes absent mind and his super strength have crushed five too many doorknobs in the past. Though he has been Spider-Man for a little over three years now, he still has to be careful about some of the things he does daily. The last thing he wants is for his secret to be told, he hates to say it but, Ned Leeds is just one too many peers knowing who he really is.

Author's note
I know some of you choose not to read these, I am very much guilty of that, but I sometimes find myself reading them just because I live the authors writing that much. I hope that's the case with some of you.

I've been writing for years now and I can never actually put in the effort to finish anything, I want this to be my first finished product. I am barely scratching the surface with these cannon characters that I am taking under my wing let alone my original characters. So please enjoy what I have to write and don't hesitate to message me. I enjoy talking to people.

Cheers!
