After looking at my hair for the fifth time in my rear view mirror, I decided enough was enough and I got out of the car. Before psyching myself out, I marched up to front door and ring the doorbell.

Waiting a few more second, I pressed it again before heard quick footsteps and the front door swung open.

Katie Jones stared at me with wide eyes and I smiled up at her. She was sporting a pair of athletic shorts and a plain, white tank top that clung to her skin. Her  feet were bare.

"You're not the Chinese food guy," she frowned and I shook my head no.

"What are you doing here?" She asked before her eyes widened. "How did you find my address?"

From Maddie.

"Listen to me," she stepped outside, despite it being cold and I took a step back.

"I will not hesitate to put a restraining order on you," she warned and I let out an annoying sigh.

"I'm not your stalker,"

"I find that hard to believe! You showed up at my house, without me telling you my address."

"I got it from Maddie," I clarified and her mouth formed into a perfect o.

"Oh," she cleared her throat. "What are you doing here?" She asked in a much more gentle tone.

Letting out a sigh, I looked up at her and shrugged.

"I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me?" I asked and my eyes widened. I wasn't supposed to just out and say it.

"Uh,"

"I'm sorry, I kind of attacked you," I apologized and she nodded slowly. She wrapped her harms around herself and slowly rubbed her arms. She didn't want to state that she was cold.

"Alright shit, I like you and I think you like me too. Beating around the bush has never been my forte, so, I'm asking you out. If you don't feel the same way, just tell me and I'll move on."

"Yes,"

I frowned. "Yes what? I didn't ask a yes or no question."

A small smile appeared on her face. "Yes, I'll go out on a date with you," She nodded.

Oh, thank God.

"Yeah?" I smiled and she nodded with a brighter smile.

"Right now?" Katie asked and my eyes widened.

"Oh no, not now," I shook my head and she shook her head.

"So you couldn't text me to ask me out on a date that we're not going to right now?" She asked and I shoved my hands in my pockets and shrugged.

"We've been teasing with each other for too long, so I figured I'd just do it face to face."

"And Monday at school couldn't work?"  She readied and my shoulders relaxed a little. 

"I was trying to avoid public humiliation in case you said no."

"I could put you right back on public humiliation with just one Snapchat." She reminded and I narrowed my eyes.

"Then you'd be the girl that went on a date with the humiliating guy," I shot back and she laughed softly.

"Fair point," she nodded. A car pulled into her driveway and I turned and took notice of a food delivery sign on top of a small Toyota Camry.
