Lauren heard voices in the room. They were talking, but She didn't understand a word they were saying. She tried to open her eyes. When she couldn't she moved her hand. Only her fingers moved. She felt hand touch hers. Who is it? A voice whispered in her ear. Still not able to open her eyes or talk, Lauren moved her hand to let the other person know she heard him, but she didn't understand what he was saying

More voices entered the room. She felt hands touching her throat. A sharp pain went through it. The tube is out. A voice said at the moment Lauren started coughing. Her eyes started to open. The light was bright and her head hurt.

"Welcome back." The doctor said just before he left the room again.

Falling back on the pillow's Lauren tried to focus. First she saw shadows of people. She knew Mick was there. But didn't make out the others until her full vision was back.

"What... happ... ened.." she tried to say, but her throat was sore and her voice was weak.

"Honey, don't try to talk for now." Mick said.

Again Lauren tried to ask what happened.

"Baby, please. Just be quiet for a while."

"I think she wants to know what happened." Steven said to Mick. He was the one holding her hand.

"I don't think we should tell her now." Joe said. "She just woke up, she probably doesn't realize she's in the hospital."

"I think we should tell her now. She want to know." Steven said.

"She's fragile, just let her be for a while." Mick said.

Lauren tried to sit up this time, she needed to know what happened. "Please tell me what happened? Where am I" she said in a whisper.

"You're in the hospital." Steven said while Joe and Mick shot him dirty looks.

"What? Why?"

"You took too much drugs."

Lauren closed her eyes and cried until she fell asleep again.

Mick took the others aside. "Look, I think you need to go." He said. "She's not getting out of here soon so you better continue your tour. I'll call when there's news."

"But we can't leave her like this." Steven said. He didn't want to go, she needed help and he wanted to help her.

"It's best that Mick helps her, I believe." Joe said. "He's her college and friend. She's in good hands. Come on." Joe assured Steven.

After a few minutes Steven and Joe left. Steven left his contact information for Lauren. And Mick sat next to Lauren, waiting for her to wake up and for the doctor to make his rounds.
