Chapter 8. This Ain't Easy

Wayo's POV

"Uhm...P'Pha? Who was that girl?"

"Uhh...she was...well it's complicated..."

"Complicated how?"

"She has been bugging me for 2 years to go on a date with her since I am apparently the hottest guy in school and eventually I accepted just to get rid of her but it ended up with us having sex somehow and since then she thinks we are dating."

"That's not really complicated. That sounds more like she is desperate." I say making him laugh, people turned to look as they must've never heard Pha laugh.

"Yo, you're amazing you know that."

"No, I'm not amazing. I'm ordinary..."

"Maybe, but I think you are amazing. You're the only person in years that manages to make me smile and laugh as much as this."

"Oh...okay. I'm glad I can help." I awkwardly say rubbing my neck. P'Pha ruffles my hair then puts his hand back on the small of my back and leads me back into the school.

"Do you have any other classes today?"

"Yeah but I have almost 3 hours to spend whilst my friends are in class. Well, we have lunch break in 2 hours so yeah but I still don't need to go to the class after lunch."

"Hoo, you made friends already on your first day, you must be popular."

"Yeah. Popular as the Non-Magi..." I mutter to myself. "but I got to know them because of you P'Pha."

"Me? I never met your friends before."

"You've never met them but they are basically your fanclub and since you talked to me yesterday they wanted to know all about you through me. But they are pretty nice people even when they found out that I couldn't use magic they didn't make fun of me."

"Well then I gues...I'm glad I could help."

"You're such a dork!"

"But I'm your dork." P'Pha suddenly kisses me on my temple and I freeze.

"Did you just?"

"Uhhhh...s-sorry. It was kind of an in the moment thing." He apologizes and rubs his head, lowering it in shame, looking like a kicked puppy, I couldn't be made at him. Especially not when I actually kind of liked it.

"Hey P'Pha, it's okay. It's just that it was really fast, I've only known you for one day."

"Ah slow down, got it! Sorry."

"It's fine!...i actually liked it..."

"Say again?"

"No, I'm not saying it again..."

"Please, for me?"

"You already heard me! I'm not repeating it!" I say trying to run away and I can hear him chasing me. I was able to reach the stairs at least before he caught me...the stairs were only 50meters away. Damn you short legs!

"Caught you! Now, say it again!"

"Fine fine! I liked it!"

"You liked what?"

"I liked you...kissing me."

"That's right!" He held his arms in the air like he was being cheered on.

"You're such an idiot you know that."

"Because of whom?"

"Me?" I point at myself in suspicion.
