Chapter 19. I got my brother back!

Wayo's POV

'Wayo baby please don't...'

'P'Pha...please...he waited for me, he loves battles and i don't want to make him miss this opportunity just because i didn't want in.' 

'Can i really not do anything to change your mind?' Pha pleaded in our minds and put his chin on my shoulder, i made the mistake of looking at him and he looked so heartbroken and concerned. I almost faltered and didn't follow through with the plan but then i would remember the guilt i would feel after seeing Ming, telling him i won't be his partner.

'Please don't look at me like that P'Pha...the angels are staring at you.'

'Damnit Yo. I'm forbidding you from entering!' He basically screamed at me but right when i wanted to retort, Ming sat down at the table and the angels started sulking. They explained that after Nate and I left, Ming ditched them as well. I don't blame him honestly. The moment i came here with P'Pha the angels were so desperate to touch him or seduce him, which didn't work at all. I'm actually doubting if my boyfriend is gay or not, i mean he is stuck with me since i'm his soulmate but he looks really uncomfortable when other guys touch him or try to flirt with him.

I turned back around to Pha, seeing he was glaring daggers at Ming and pulled me closer against him.

'Possessive asshole...'

'I heard that!'

'That was the idea!' I sighed and sat with my back facing Ming so i could properly whisper to P'Pha, i know that we could just discuss it again in our minds but it didn't really matter if the others heard it, maybe Ming would even hear some of the conversation and help me convince Phana.

"P'Pha, please let me just do this for him." I whispered to him.

"No. Yo i'm just looking out for you." He furrowed his brows and shook his head, his hand gently rubbing my arm. I know his intentions are well but i want to experience battle myself as well as help out a friend. The chances of him finding another partner at this point are very slim.

"I just...I just want to show my magic...i've never been able to do this and this might be my only chance to show the school what i can do. Please?" I said with a sad face and i actually felt tears in my eyes, i don't know if i am a good actor or that i actually really want to do this for myself also. Phana's face softened and he released a big sigh before nodding.

'Okay...but i will help you practice, i can't afford my baby to get hurt. I won't be able to see you in pain. And please stop crying...I'm sorry.' I smiled brightly despite the pout on his face. I kissed him on his cheek.

'I love you.' As soon as he heard my words he was smiling again, he wrapped his arms around my waist and rubbed his cheek against mine as he was resting his chin on my shoulder.

'love you too baby.'

"Ming!" I turned back to Ming and asked if i could be his partner. He was ecstatic to say the least. He jumped me and i could hear Phana grumble but he didn't hurt Ming this time, it's an improvement. I should probably also tell Copper and Pong the news about my magic. It feels really good to know how my powers work. Maybe i should do a bit of research on people so i know the magic i will be able to use when i borrow it from them. When Ming got off me, i saw the faces of the angel gang, they looked like a ghost passed by, which isn't a rare occurance honestly. 

"YOU CAN USE NEUTRAL MAGIC!?"

"E'BITCH! Why didn't you tell us?"

"E'Nate, you probably knew this already and you didn't even tell us?"
