Chapter 32. What a week!

Wayo's POV

A week has passed since the tournament and my school experience has improved a lot, i have to say. Despite losing to P'Park and P'Thee we are still the ones that qualified for the Rumble that starts in a week and people have been congratulating Ming and I nonstop. Some students were still weary about how i suddenly was able to use magic and how it somehow was the same as my partner's. I was honest to the people who simply asked and told them that i was able to use magic after finding my Signer, who happened to be P'Pha who was also very annoyed by all the attention i got. So some things never change, and i am glad they don't. However i never told them what my magic really is, just the fact that i was able to use magic now. The whole 'You might be an important person now because you have rare magic' talk with P'Gump kind of made me anxious to tell random people about it. I'm scared about those who want to kidnap me and do those crazy experiments on me. Of course i am able to protect myself and if needed, P'Pha will be there to save me but it's a creepy thought nonetheless.

The bullying stopped completely but i think that might be because word has spread that P'Pha is my Signer and instead of it being just a rumor, it is now a well known fact and P'Pha is still the one people fear for their lives. It bothered P'Pha at first that people thought about him like that yet over the last couple of days he is more than happy with that kind of reputation. He told me that it will be easier for other guys not to hit on me, which will result in someone getting sent to the nurse's office and another certain student being sent to the principal's office. 

The girls in this school however are still the same as ever, there is the group that wants to steal Phana away from me because they see how gentle he can be and they think that he can be like that to them as well eventually, then there is the group of girls that just want to date him for status, looks and money, not caring if he will pay attention to them at all, and then the strangest group of all...the girls that 'ship' us. Even when Phana does small adorable things for me like get me a drink, give me a peck, wipe away food from my mouth, these girls will squeal so goddamn loudm even if i had Sound cancelation magic, they will burst through that. They do send us gifts however, but P'Pha keeps throwing them away saying that we shouldn't trust them...i don't blame him really, but they seem nice?

Of course i get a bit jealous when girls hang around MY Signer, but P'Pha finds it just as uncomfortable as i do. Again, he is still not that comfortable around other people, he is just tolerating it. Kit, Ming and P'Pha have been getting along better though. He doesn't growl anymore if either of them touch me anymore and even smiles around them as well. When Ming and Kit called Phana their friend, he told me all about how happy he was hearing that from people i trust. Again, crazy scary to other people, adorable giant to me.

Things between P'Beam and P'Forth on the other hand, aren't going as smoothly. P'Beam, P'Copper and P'Pong came to us a day later and apologized to us, i forgave them simply because it isn't in my nature to hold long grudges, but it is harder for P'Pha to accept and it clearly shows. P'Pong hugged me before he left and Phana didn't do anything about it, so i can assume he has no issues with P'Pong, with P'Copper things got a bit more difficult for him, he is my brother and i just wanted to let him know i forgave him and i'm not mad at him. Maybe i should spend a day again with P'Pong and P'Copper, i have been spending a lot of time lately with P'Pha, Ming and Kit. Anyways, P'Pha wasn't protesting when i went to hug P'Copper but once i was in his arms, he started growling, so we cut it a bit short. Then came P'Beam. I couldn't even touch him. Before i could open my arms for P'Beam to hug me, P'Pha pulled me back into his lap and threathened P'Beam. The manner in which he said 'Don't even think about it.' back then, it was very dangerous and more animal than human sounding. I've heard it a lot already so i am kind of used to it but it was probably a first for P'Beam who started shaking right then and there.
