Chapter 42. Calm before the storm

Wayo's POV

"Okay let's go. I don't know how long Gump will be able to keep up...Stay Strong Yo, you have us now. Don't forget that..."

'Why is your father being so dramatic?'

'Dramaqueen...' P'Pha responded making me chuckle, when i opened my eyes again we were in dads' office. P'Gump was sitting behind his desk with two people sitting in front of them. When the two people turned aroud to face us, i was this close to losing it but i tried to keep myself collected. I was better than this, they can't control my life and decide when they want anything to do with me.

"Pa, why did you call us here?" I ask P'Gump who gives me the brightest smile when i call him pa, i look beside me at P'Pha and P'Sunz and they are both smiling as well.

"Hello Wayo." My 'father' adressed me finally.

"Hello P'Art." I greeted him back.

"P'Art? Wayo, this is your father. You cannot adress him like this."

"That man is not my father. If anything he is just a sperm donor." I replied confidentently. I have no idea where these words were coming from but it felt so good to misbehave against these people calling themselves my parents. Screw dissapointing them, i don't care anymore. I guess finally calling P'Gump and P'Sunz Pa and Dad made me feel safe that i will have parental figures in my life after i disregard my birthparents.

'Good one Yo.' P'Pha gave me a thumbs up and sat down on the couch next to us with his phone out, however i didn't miss him occasionally glaring at my parents and showing his teeth like a dog...wolf when they dared to look at P'Pha.

"Yo, i wanted to call you out because i thought you had the right to be here. These people want to pull both you and Kit out of school."

"You what?!" I shouted at them, they did however not deny it or show any shame.

"Calm down son, i told them they do not have the rights to pull either of you boys back."

"I still can't understand how that is possible! They need someone to sign the contract of entrance that is counted as their parents or guardians."

"Yes that is correct. However since both Kit and Yo were of the legal age they didn't need the signature of a LEGAL parent of guardian. Yo here has N'Copper and N'Pong notated as his guardians who he used to live with as well. As for N'Kit, he asked for my husband and mine's signature."

"Our Kit? Why would he ever?" My mother asked confused and annoyed.

"Because he didn't want to be dependant on you, he expected you to pull him out of school once he acted out or went off radar. This might sound rude and as a parent this might be hurtful but N'Kit wants to detach himself from you."

"Call him over here right now! When i get my hands on that boy he is going to be in so much pain!"

"You won't lay a finger on him!"

"Wayo behave!"

"NO! I'm sick of the both of you, you keep trying to control me and Kit. Now that i am finally happy, just let me live my life!" I screamed at my parents, my father stared at me blankly while my mother looked like she was going to scream and faint in a few seconds. She kept a calm facade but it was easily looked through.

My parents stood up and walked towards the door to leave again, but for some reason i had to ask. 

"Why did you come to the rumble?"
