Chapter 31. Taste of my own Medicine

Kit's POV

"How are you feeling now?"

"Better since you are here with me P'." The injured idiot responded as Park was rubbing medicine on the small leftover cuts on Ming...that he caused.

"Huy, you just got beaten into pulp, how can you be fine?"

"Is that really something you should ask Nong? Because if i remember correctly me and Thee beat you and Nong Beam just as hard last year." Park said with a smug expression.

"Ugh, P'Park..."

"Just kidding N'Kit but really, Nobody in this school have deafeated me and Thee yet. I'm pretty sure N'Pha could kill me but he always holds back and i just know it, and funny enough i am glad he does."

"Now that you are saying it Phi, aside from talking with Yo through his mind or Summoning, i haven't really seen P'Pha use any magic." I express as i thought it was pretty weird, i know his magic is very dangerous but even Pring who uses Curse Magic is seen using her magic almost every day.

"Yo told me that P'Pha kind of dislikes his magic so he avoids using it if necessary."

"I've been going for this school for a full year yet and nobody aside from Forth knew anything about P'Pha yet Yo has managed to make him open up in less than 3 months."

"It's the power of love N'Kit, just wait until you find your Signer." I already know who my Signer is though...

"Yes P'Kit so the faster we go on a date, the faster you will find your Signer." Ming suggested, wiggling his eyebrows.

"No!"

"Auw why not?" He sulks. Like usual.

"B-because you haven't deserved it yet." Shoot, i must probably sound like one of those tsundere anime girls and judging from the smirk on Park's face, i probably do and he noticed.

"Then tell me what i need to do Phi. I'll do anything!"

"Anything?"

"Yes! If it means you'll date me then i can do anything you ask of me." Ming pleads, leaning forward so much he is almost falling off the bed.

"Hmmm...I want you to~"

"Yes!?"

"Win the Magix Rumble with my brother."

"Then i suggest you pick a location for our date Phi, because we have this in the bag."

"Hoo, so confident yet you couldn't beat me and Suthee." Park chimed in, earning him a glare from Ming that wasn't too frightening.

"Well...now that P'Kit is giving me new motivation i am sure we are going to win. I need to win." Ming is being very determined right now and the corners of my lips curl slightly at how endearing he truly is right now. I'm actually feeling somewhat excited to go on a date with him.

Park was done treating Ming so the four of us just sat down to talk for a bit since Beam, Forth and Yo's...brothers? Friends? Guardians? Were talking in the next room, however we were slightly distraught when we heard Forth's voice boom from the other room. I gave Ming a concerned look, he nodded at me and in less than a second i walked out of the door. I just saw Forth angrily walk away, out of the room. He didn't even notice me behind him and i think that might actuall be a good thing right now, P'Forth probably just needs to cool off for a bit.

I push the door open and am immediately face to face with Beam who has a few tears silently falling from his eyes but more are waiting to burst free, without saying anything i grab his arm and pull him towards a clear hallway where the contestants go to enter the other side of the stage, standing in the empty hall i put my hand against the wall.
