"Billy, good to see you again." Doctor Strange greeted me. Nodding I made my way to the table. "Last night, Wanda brought the book to me, and using references in the Sanctum Sanctorum we found something that is slightly worrying." He informed Peter and I.
"What's going on!" Peter shouted drawing everyone's attention. Tony looked at Pepper and nonverbally told her something.
"Peter, can you come with me for a second, I'll explain everything." Pepper said guiding Peter out of the room.
"Okay, what did you find?" I asked.
"After Wanda contacted me about the book, I read anything that had to do with this Demiurge the book mentioned. After days inside the cauldron of the cosmos reading I found a prophecy. It was quite alarming when I first read it, but I have a feeling that all will end well." Strange said mysteriously.
"Yeah, that doesn't help the current situation." Tony said bluntly. Sighing Strange grabbed an ancient manuscript from a bag.
"I found a prophecy made by one of the first sorcerers, sadly part of it seems to be missing, the end to be exact."
"What does it say?" I asked seeing that it was written in an ancient language.
"It's a bit rough," Strange sighed, "When the dark one comes, he will bring destruction. His power unstoppable. The Demiurge will emerge from within soon after partnered with The Arachne. Together they will usher in... That is where it ends." Strange read off.
"So the chances of Billy being this Demiurge are incredibly high." Wanda spoke up.
"Incredibly. With all the references to a spider and Billy dating Peter. Not to mention we just created the Young Avengers." Tony thought out loud.
"Who is the Dark one?" I asked looking at the manuscript.
"I am presuming it is a being I came in contact with a while ago. It's name is Dormammu, and he is a being of pure evil. I was able to make a deal with him, so he shouldn't be back for a while." Strange explained.
"When did this happen?" Tony asked surprised.
"Almost two years now I believe." Strange answered. "Many refer to Dormammu as the Dark One for the fact that he lives in the dark dimension."
"What should we do if I am this Demiurge?" I asked.
"There isn't much we can do, we will just have to train you, quickly." Wanda spoke up. Nodding Tony looked at me.
"Strange, that Cauldron, can it be used to train?" Tony asked.
"I use it mostly for meditation, but yeah. Time in side of it moves slower inside of it as well, so if Wanda and I train him in it for a day, it will have been at least a week in the cauldron."
"Let's go." I said putting my bag on the ground.
"Woah hold on Billy, you should talk to Peter about this." Wanda instructed me.
"About what, that I am The Demiurge and that we don't know what that could entail? I will tell him that I will go training with you, but I don't need him to worry about me." I argued walking to the room Peter was taken to by Pepper. In the room Peter was pacing back and forth.
"Billy what's going on, all that Pepper said was that it was serious." Peter rushed to me.
'Should I tell him?' I asked myself. Looking over at Pepper, I saw worry all over her face. Sighing I grabbed Peters hands. "We found out something that could grow to be something terrible. Right now we don't know much about it. What we do know is that I am going to have to spend a few days training."
"That's fine, I can help!" Peter smiled, making me frown.
"You can't Peter. I don't want you to get hurt, and my powers, they might get hard to control." I said looking down. Lifting my chin up, Peter smiled.
"I understand, and when you're done, I will be here waiting for you." Peter said smiling sadly. Grabbing him you pulled him into a hug.
"It should only be for a few days." I whispered breathing in his scent. Pulling away Peter smiled kissing me on the forehead.
"Just be safe."
"Billy before you go, you should change into your suit." Tony said interrupting the mood. Sighing I nodded and made my backpack float over to me. "Peter, I need to talk to you before you head back down to your class."
"Yes sir, Mr. Stark." Stepping away Peter smiled again before following Tony out of the room. Grabbing my floating bag I walked into the bathroom to change. Setting my phone down on the counter it began to vibrate. Glancing over I see Kate's name flashing.
"What's up?" I said answering my phone.
"What's Up?" She asked in shock and anger. "What's up is that you and Peter have been missing most of the trip. Where are you two?"
"Peter will be back down soon." I sighed.
"What about you?"
"I, well, I have on the job training I have to do. So I will be gone for a few days. Please don't freak out." I whispered. Not giving a response, Kate hung up. "Shit, she's mad." I sighed as I finished changing into my suit. Walking out of the bathroom I put my phone in my bag. "Pepper, would it be fine to leave my bag here?"
"Of course." She smiled taking my bag and walking out of the room. Walking over to Wanda and Strange, I stood patiently.
"I understand Wanda. Now, Billy are you ready to go?" Strange asked. Nodding I followed Strange to the balcony. Wanda stood next to me as Strange opened one of his portals. Flying off the balcony, Strange flew through the hole, followed by myself and Wanda. Landing in the sanctum, Strange floated over to the cauldron. "Wong, I will training Billy for a few days, hold down the fort!" He shouted through the sanctum.
"Yes sir." Wong said emerging from one of the many rooms. Waving his hand above the Cauldron, Strange looked towards us.
"Are you ready?" He asked both of us. Nodding Wanda and I got closer to the cauldron. "All you have to do is jump in" He instructed us waving his other hand over the cauldron. Within seconds the cauldron began to glow like the northern lights. "Now!" Strange yelled jumping into the oversized cauldron. Wanda and I looked at each other nervously before jumping in together. Falling through a vortex of colour, I appeared next to Strange and Wanda in an empty void of space. Taking a deep breath I looked around me in awe as bursts of glowing nebulas appeared around us. "Welcome to the Cauldron of the Cosmos." Dr. Strange said holding an arm out gesturing to the space we now occupied.
"Let's get to training." Wanda spoke up after taking in our surroundings. "Should we start with meditation?" Wanda asked Strange.
"I think we should see what Billy can do first." Strange said. "Billy go ahead and show us what you can do now."
"Yes sir." I said floating in front of both of them. "As you know I can fly now." I said, "I can also make things teleport." I said making my cape teleport over to Wanda. "I'm trying to get a better hold of teleporting myself. I have done it once on accident, and once on purpose." I said. Focusing on my hand I made electricity arch between my fingers. "I can also partially use electricity." I said shooting a blast of electricity upwards. "I have also made, energy people?" I said more as a question.
"What do you mean?" Strange asked. Focusing on Dr. Strange I made a copy of him. "Oh, It is similar to illusion magic, but they are made out of hard light." Strange spoke to himself. "I think I would like to try to have you use illusion magic." Nodding Wanda agreed.
"Now let's meditate for a few days." Wanda instructed. "We will take breaks every day to see if you can do more." Strange agreed with her.
"Okay let's get to it." I smiled closing my eyes.
