Letting out a deep breathe, I fell to my knees. Peter and Kate rushed over to me, picking me off the ground.

"Let's go and take a breather." Peter sighed nodding over to a campsite near by. Agreeing, Kate helped him drag me over to a bench to rest. "Are you okay Bills?" Peter whispered.

"Yeah, I just have to work on not using so much of my own energy." I said resting my head on Peters lap. Peter began to run his fingers through my slightly damp hair. "That feels good." I sighed and moved into his hand.

"Gross." Kate laughed. "We can't rest to long, it's almost five, we should be getting back to the tower. We have to see if we have to do anything for the rest of the day."

"That and I am the friendly neighborhood Spider-man. I am supposed be patrolling Queens, so we should hurry."

"Yeah, yeah you two are right." I said sitting up. "I won't be able to hold a portal open very long, top of the tower right?"

"Yeah that will be fine and we will hurry." Kate said standing up and stretching. Following suit, I stood up and walked a few feet and began trying to open a quick portal. Moving my hands in the circle I now have memorized, slight sparks began to form.

"Get ready to jump." I muttered focusing on the tower. Peter and Kate made their way next to me as the portal began to open. "GO!" I yelled straining to hold the portal open. Peter and Kate both jumped through the portal and landed on the roof of the tower.

"Bills, hurry." I faintly heard Peter yell as the portal began to close.

"Remember I can teleport, it's fine." I said as the portal began decreasing in size. "But if I hold this open then I won't have enough energy to. I will see you soon." I said letting go of the portal. Falling on my butt I let out another sigh. "Okay Billy, one teleport and you can finally relax. Just have to get to the tower." I whispered to myself. Closing my eyes I got ready to teleport.

"Well it's good to see that you're finally alone again." A deep voice echoed around me. Opening my eyes I looked around. The forest began to darken around me, as the shadows of the trees began to expand. "And you don't have the energy to fight back." He lets out a deep laugh.

'Peter, he's here, I'm not going to be able to escape in time. I am turning on my tracker.' I telepathically sent to Peter. "I may be tired but I can still take you!" I yelled into the darkness around me.

"Still have a fight in you?" He chuckled again. "Don't worry I wont kill you, this time. I am only here to drain some of your power for myself."

"Yeah, that's not going to happen. I won't let it." I said through gritted teeth. "I will never allow  you to gain anymore power!"

"Well you see," He said giving a dramatic pause and exiting the shadows. "You don't have a choice in the matter." He spoke with destain. Walking closer to me, I fell to the floor. Reaching his hand out, I was frozen in fear of what he might do to me. His hand fell onto my shoulder giving it a slight squeeze. "You are so young, and have more power than you know. You'll be able to so much good, or so much damage to this world. But alas," He sighed melodramatically. "You seem to have a heroes heart."

"I have more power than you ever will." I spat, forcing myself to stand up, pushing against the force of his hand on my shoulder. "It is only a matter of time before I stop you." I growled.

"Too bad you won't have very much." He chuckled, letting the shadows snake their way around us, encapsulating us. Before I know it, his devilish smile fades from my view and the world around me turns to a void.

"W-where am I?" I coughed out.

"Hello Billy, you have been asleep for three hours. I am unable to determine our location." Auras voice rang out.

"Thank you Aura. Are communications still working?" I whispered.

"I'm sorry to say sir, but no. My communications network has been down for a few hours."

"Thank you Aura, I will take it from here. Alert me if there is any movement here." I ordered looking around the cell like room I was in. Sitting in the center of the wet and rusty room, I sat cross-legged. Breathing in, I closed my eyes and focused on Peter. 'Peter, can you hear me?'

'Billy? Is it really you?' Peter's voice echoed in my mind.

'Peter you have to listen carefully. I need you to go to Wanda and tell her to get the Doctor. I don't have very much magical energy right now but I am going to use what I have and set up a beacon. Tell her she should be able to sense it.' I informed him.

'Okay, I'll see you soon. I never should have left you.' Peter spoke sadly.

'I know Peter, and it's fine babe.' I said cutting the connection. "Now for the beacon." I whispered to myself. Moving over to a corner of the room I traced a small sigil into the wall. "You will find me here." I whispered running my finger over the glowing rune. Wiping the sigil away, I made it nearly invisible. "Aura, has anything changed?"

"Negative sir. There seems to be something that is interfering with all of my metrics." Aura spoke. "Would you like to see?"

"Yes, thank you Aura." I said as holograms appeared from my hood, covering my face. "What am I looking at Aura?" I asked looking over the hovering images.

"This," Aura spoke making a sonar looking image glow slightly brighter. "Shows nearby living signatures. The only life forms being picked are small animals, most likely rats."

"How far does it scan?" I asked looking it over, watching the small dots move around.

"Not very far with communications down. This scanner only has a reach of  five hundred meters in diameter."

"Damn, is there any way I can use magic to boost it?"

"I don't believe so, but I also haven't done any analysis on your new abilities." Aura informed me.

"Let me know if things change." I sighed. "Uh, Aura, how do I get rid of the display?" I asked.

"One way to pull up as well as put away the holographic display is by pulling at the peak of your hood." Aura instructed.

"Thank you." I said giving the end of the hood a slight tug causing the holograms to disappear. "I guess I will meditate for time being." I sighed moving to the center of the room once more. Sitting cross-legged I let my consciousness drift, before it slammed back to me. "Astral travel!" I said excitedly. Running a finger over the black ring, I closed my eyes again. Feeling my body begin to float, my astral body drifted out  of it.

Drifting around the room, I examined my surroundings. Floating over to the cage like door of the room, I began floating out of my cell. Looking back at my body, I waved my hand and made my cloak wrap itself around my body. Letting out a deep breathe, I pushed forward up a set of rusty stairs. The stairs led up for what felt like seven flights, before opening up to a long corridor with an elevator at the end. Ten steel doors lined the hall on each side. Slowly making my way to the elevator I stuck my head through the metal doors. This was the bottom of the elevator shaft, and above me looked like it went forever. Pulling the rest of my astral body into the shaft I began flying up. After a minute of flying up, the sound of an elevator began to grow closer. Bracing myself an elevator flew through me. Shaking my head I continued up.

Shortly after the elevator passed me I finally made it to the top. Exiting the elevator shaft, I drifted into what looked like the lobby of an office building. Men and women in suits hurriedly made their ways in and out of the building. Floating out of the building, I looked around to get my bearings. At the top of the building, green letters shined in the night sky, Oscorp.
