"Uhm, yeah. What the fuck!?" Peter almost yelled.
"Peter, Billy, told you I would see you soon." Kate smiled putting her mask back on. Sorry to surprise you two like this."
"It's about time," I smiled as Peter was having an emotional rollercoaster. "Peter chill, it's just Kate."
"Did you know she was going to join us!" Peter asked still shocked.
"I mean, I had an idea, I didn't think she was joining so soon." I answered truthfully.
"I am always the last to be told of anything." Peter sighed. "Oh well, welcome to the team Kate, or Hawkingbird. Very nice name by the way." Peter complimented
"Thanks, Clint has been a family friend for most of my life. Clint taught me to use a bow pretty young, so I adopted his hero name." Kate explained to us. "Now I believe we have a group mission tomorrow, I think it would be best if we did some training together."
"When did you become the leader?" Peter mumbled.
"She isn't wrong though Peter." I smiled agreeing with Kate. "Now let's head to the woods." I said walking over to a closet door. "Are we training or not?" I asked turning back to them, Peter already walking to my side.
"Billy, that's a closet, are you really going back into the closet?" Kate said smugly.
"No, now come on." I rolled my eyes knocking on the door. Opening the door revealed the wooded area where Peter and I were earlier. "Let's go." I said walking through the door followed by Peter and Kate shortly after. After Kate closed the door behind herself the portal vanished.
"So what should we do?" Peter asked. Closing my eyes I made a triangle with my hands and pushed forward. A glowing rune began to appear it in front of me. Separating my hands, I moved them counterclockwise, creating a ring of runes around the big one. Out of the ring, five large beast like creatures made of solid light climbed out and began to run around the woods.
"What the hell Bi-Wiccan!" Kate yelled seeing the creatures scatter.
"Let's get them, there is only five." I explained running into the woods.
"Where did they even go?" Peter yelled running up next to me.
"I see tracks up a head, one definitely went this way." Kate said picking up the pace and passing us before stopping abruptly. "Wait." Kate whispered. "Hear that?" She asked notching an arrow.
"Above us!" Peter yelled jumping away. Kate and I rolled to the left dodging the beast. Landing where we had just been standing. Turning toward Peter, it began to snarl and slowly approach him. Peter shot webbing at the beasts feet and jumped into a tree. Kate fired three arrows in succession each one piercing the beast. Raising my left hand, I lifted the beast up with telekinesis and with my right I fired a blast of energy. Peter swung down and kicked the beast causing it to dissipate.
"Good work boys." Kate congratulated. "Now let's split up and each take one down, and the last one we will take together." Nodding Peter swung away and Kate took off running in seperate directions. Closing my eyes I tried locating one of the beasts. Before my mind could find it a scream bounced off the trees.
"Crap where was that coming from?" I asked myself flying up and over the trees towards the scream. Flying over the treetops I scanned the surroundings, up ahead I could see a small campsite and smoke rising near it. Landing at the campsite, Peter and Kate emerged from the tree line.
"What's going on?" Kate asked.
"I think one of the beasts attacked this camp." I answered.
"Do you think you can dispel them?" Peter asked looking at the wreckage.
