Guys, thank you guys for 1k reads. I've had very low expectations and to see 1k is such a wonderful thing to experience. So, to celebrate the occasion, I'll tell you how I came across this wonderful movie.

I was on YouTube finding what I could watch. I was looking through a YouTube channel who reacts to Disney movies when this guy uploaded a new video. It was his reaction to The Great Mouse Detective. I didn't watch it right away since I knew nothing about it except for "The Worlds Greatest Criminal Mind." It wasn't until days later that I got curious and watched it. And oh boy did this movie blow my mind! I instantly fell in love with this movie. The setting, the characters, the MUSIC! Basil became an instant favorite just because of this line he says:

"Actually, it's elementary, my dear Dawson."

I love this line so much!

After watching this movie so many times I got curious again and wondered: Are there any fanfics about this movie? So I searched it up here on Wattpad and I was introduced in a whole new world. After reading so much fanfics on this movie I decided to make one too. I created an OC and Shyla was born. When I first published the first couple of chapters, I wasn't expecting it to be popular or anything but I still wrote because it was a lot of fun. And soon the reads started to grow faster than I've ever seen. So, I continued to write.

And here we are now.

Guys, thank you. I know I keep saying this but I really mean it. Thank you so much. Without you guys, I wouldn't be here today. You guys were my motivation to keep going and see it to the end. So thank you.
