*AGAIN: This was NOT edited! No hate*

It’s October now. Things have changed. I’m doing better with the girls and Josh and I are still together. I love him, and he tells me at least once a day he loves me back. Lindsay leaves me notes sometimes. I just throw them away or give them to Josh. He says he’s done with her, but the notes keep coming.

BING! I grab my phone off my bed and press a random button to view the message.

Want me to pick you up? I’ve got hot chocolate!

The text makes me smile. For a long time I haven’t been depressed. I’m loving my life at the moment.

Haha, sounds great! :*

I send the text and quickly finish my hair. Ringlettes. My favourite. I throw on a pair of plaid, pink and purple short shorts with a white swoop shirt. I put on some strawberry lip balm and run downstairs.

“The boys are coming home this weekend. We’re throwing a party tomorrow night. Tell your friends to come!” Says mom.

“Haha, sure thing momma.” I kiss her cheek and get a piece of gum from the candy drawer.

“You need breakfast!” She says scrambling to make me a bagel.

“No ma, Josh picked me up something. He’ll be here any minute!”

“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I like that boy!”

“Me too, ma. Gotta go!” I run out the front step and hop into Josh’s car.

“I didn’t even honk yet!” He says leaning over to kiss me.

“I saw you comin’, babe.” I lay back and feel the breeze in my hair.

We get to school and he passes me my hot chocolate.

“Ok, I think you’re trying to make me fat. You got me a large! You know I drink a smallllllll.”

“You’ll need the energy, I’ve got plans for us after school.” He winks and we head in. The bell for class rings and we part.

“Hey chika,” says Josey sitting on my desk in homeroom.

“Sup?”

“Is that hot choco?”

“Yup. Nice and warm.”

“Can I have someeee?”

“I’m getting sick, boo. Sowwie.” I put on a puppy dog face and sit on her desk.

Homeroom is so easy. We just sit and talk.

“So, I’m having a party or something this weekend. You’re inviteddd!” I smile big.

“What day?”

“Tomorrow night.”

“What’s tomorrow?”

“Friday?”

“That’s the bonfire!”

“Crap, you’re right. Well stop by and we can get ready to go. My mom would just want to see someone there. I’m inviting Josh, Ambs, and Kels, too.”

“Sure, sounds fun.”

The morning slips by and before I know it it’s lunch. I walk to the cafeteria with the girls. Josh gets in line with us and then we go to the bowl. We sit and my phone rings.

‘I’M A BARBIE GIRL! IN A BARBIE WORLLLLD!’

“Very original, Bridge.” Says Josh tickling my tummy.
