“What time is it?” Asks Josh rolling onto me.

“What?” I ask, fastening my bra.

“Heeeeeey.” He smiles while kissing my forehead three times.

“Hi.” I say trying to find my clothes in the bed sheets.

“Last night was-..”

“Let’s not talk about that, ok?” I say pushing Josh off of me.

“What’s wrong?” He asks, getting off.

“Nothing.” I say sitting up.

“Bridge.” He says pulling my hand towards him.

“It’s just… I always pictured it on like, my wedding night. Not really… Ya know?”

“Not with me.” He says bluntly letting go of my hand.

“No! Josh, no. That’s not what I meant. I was always told that you do it with the person you love and-..”

“Oh, so you don’t love me. I get it.”

“Josh, stop it!” You know I love you. I was taught that you save yourself for that one person.”

“Did I rush things?” He says rolling on his side.

“No.” I pull him towards me and sit on his abs. “My desicon.” I say kissing him softly.

“School tomorrow. Shit.” He says trying to change the topic.

“Right. I’ve got homework to do.”

“Same. You can come over later so we can work together?”

“Mm’kay. But not I gotta change.”

“Why?”

“I’m only in my bra and underwear!”

“What’s wrong with that?” He winks and pulls the sheet over us.

*hours later*

“Josh!” I scream as he tickles me.

“What?”

“You’re gonna get us kicked outta here if you make me scream like that anymore!” Just then someone knocks fast and hard on the door. “Crap! See?!” I jump out of the bed and open the door a little bit. Brad pushes past me and I knock into the closet.

“Jay’s out.” Brad says walking back and forth, talking to Josh who’s still lying in bed.

“What? No. He can’t be.” Josh says getting out of bed and slipping on his boxers. I can feel my cheeks burn as Brad gets blinded.

Brad coughs, but goes on, “He just got into town. He’s been out since last Saturday.”

“Bridge?” Josh says sticking out his hand and he shakes his head with his eyes shut tight. I walk out of the closet, pulling a hanger from my hair.

“Are you alright?” He looks like he’s in a horrible pain.

“Can I see your phone?”

“Ummm.. Yeah sure?” I hand Josh my phone and look over his shoulder as he types something into the google search bar tab.

“’Jay Andrews’?” I say under my breath.

“Balh, blah, blah…. Is out as of last week. He’s said to be…. Going home….” Josh looks up at Brad, his face blank and white like he saw a ghost. “Let’s go. We have to find him.”
