*NOT EDITED!* no hate <3

“Josh?” I ask to no one. “Josh!” I scream at the water. Still nothing. I jump in and pull him to the top. I gasp for air and he starts laughing.

“Josh!” I scream into his face.

“What? Hahaha.” He continues to laugh.

“That wasn’t funny!” I say slapping him across the face. He grabs my arm after. “Don’t.” I say firm. I try to take my hand away.

“Aww babe, I was just kidding!”

“Figures.” I say coldly.

“Oh come on Bridge.” He kisses my forehead.

“That wasn’t funny!” I say pushing him with my feet. “I was scared, that wasn’t funny Josh.”

“I’m sorry!” He says smiling.

“You’re a dork.” I say as he pulls me in. My teeth start to chatter.

“Lets get you outta this water.” Josh jumps onto the dock and pulls me up. I slip on his sweater and carry my jeans back to the car.

“Where to?” He asks, revving the car to life.

“Can I have a shower at your place?” I ask.

“Absolutely.” He winks.

“I didn’t mean it like that.” I say slapping his harm.

“Haha, I know. Bridge, why you so dirty?!”

“I’m dirty?” I say astonished. “You suck.”

“Uhhh no. That’s you.”

I gasp, “Do not!”

“Yessss.”

“Did.. Did I?”

“Noooo! I was kidding!”

“Oh thank God!” We pull away from Pure and drive to Josh’s house.

“Does my stomach look bigger?” I ask pushing up his sweater.

“No.” He reaches over and puts his hand on my stomach. “It’s firm though.”

“I know. I get nervous wearing tank tops and stuff at school.”

“Don’t worry, you can wear all of my sweatshirts if that’s what it takes!”

“Thanks.” I look out at the beach. It’s not sunny out, it’s rather gray. “Josh?”

“Hmmm?”

“What if someone finds out?”

“Finds out what?”

“That I’m pregnant. I won’t be able to hide it forever, I’m going to start showing soon..”

“We’ll cross that bridge once we get there.” He says, eyes on the road.

“People are going to think I’m a slut. A whore. No good. …. People are going to believe what Lindsay’s been saying…”

And then it finally occurs to me.

Lindsay’s been right this whole time. I really am no better than her.

“It’s been half an hourrrrrr!” Calls Josh, knocking on the bathroom door. “What are you doing in there? Plastic surgery?”

“Shut up.” I open the door. Steam fills the hallway.

“Whoa. It’s like a sauna!”

I walk out in a white towel, my hair up in a bun. “It wasn’t that long.”
