~Surviving Highschool~
*1 year later, Josh's P.O.V.*
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you! Happy birthday Liz and Draytennnn! Happy birthday to you!" Family sings watching the drooling babies sit on the floor.
Liz crawls over to Bridgette and she lefts her up, she smiles as she catches me staring at her. I give a small wink and pick Drayten up off the floor. Present overflow the room as
all of our family and friends came to celebrate the twins' first birthday.
"So are you really ready for this?" Asks Brad, sitting beside me, a beer in hand.
"It's just one week." I shrug, patty Drayten's back lightly.
"Yeah, one week in paradise, with your gorgeous wife and kids! First family vacation EVER! Kinda a big deal."
"We got a nanny to help with the kids, but it's also our honeymoon. We want some time alone too." I look back at Bridge who throws some hair over her left shoulder and laughs while talking to her Aunt Ruth.
'She really is gorgeous,' I think to myself. Perfect in every way.
I notice Bridge stand up, "As most of you know, tomorrow we leave for our first family vacation ever." She looks intently at me and then the kids. "I want to thank everyone for their support and for the lvoe you've all given the twins. I wouldn't be here without any of you."
People start to clap and cake gets passed out. I look down at Dray in my arms and notice the drool running out of his mouth. "Just a few more hours and we'l be gone." I say, wiping it off.
*Bridge's P.O.V.*
"You've got the soothers?" I call from our bedroom.
"Yup!" Josh calls back.
"And Liz?" I ask looking around the room frantically.
"She's in her car seat!" Josh replies.
"Come here, honey." I reach for Drayten.
He replies in some baby giberish then smiles and laughs. I hold in so he's looking over my back shoulder and grab the baby bag that weighs more than I do.
Josh is with Liz in the front hall, waiting. He's wearing different coloured neon shorts and a black West 49 tshirt. He looks hot as hell as I kiss him on the cheek.
"Don't know where I'd be without you." I say setting Drayten down in his car seat.
"I'd like to believe in a horrible state." He laughs, picking up Liz's car seat.
"Excuse me?" I ask, hitting his shoulder.
"Gotta get going!" He says, kissing me for real, then picking up Drayten's car seat.
I grab the left over luggage, turn off the lights and lock the door.
"Let's make some great memories." I whisper, turning to leave the apartment.
