Chapter 16

Nicole P.O.V

A few minutes after Matt left the doctor came in and said i was ready to go and to be careful with my brace i had on my ankle since i badly sprained it. We walked into the lobby to see Caitlynne and Nash waiting for us. Caitlynne had one of those like butterfly bandages on her head so she probably cut her head open. 15 minutes later we arrived at home. I notice there was a lot of people here and i saw a banner that said WELCOME HOME!! great a welcome home party (note sarcasm) I find Denise and she looked really sad.

"Denise I'm so sorry" I said as I gave her a hug

"Don't worry about it, it's fine it wasn't your fault anyway. I mean its not like there wont be other opportunities" Denise replied as Matt came over and hugs Denise from behind. They started making out so I went to find Hayes. I couldn't find Hayes anywhere, then i saw him. Not Hayes, Jake aka the last person i want to see, aka my crazy ex-boyfriend who only wanted to hook-up. He comes over, grabs my arm and pulls me upstairs into my room. Once we get up there he pushes me against the wall

"Now I'm going to finish what i started" Jake says. He starts kissing my neck and i try to fight him off but its no use he is to strong for me. I scream for Hayes and Jake slaps me across the face to shut me up. Why isn't anybody helping me? I scream again and this time Jake punches me in the gut

"Get the fuck off her" i hear someone yell. I thought it was Hayes but it was actually Carter with Nash not far behind him. Besides Hayes I am closest with Carter and Nash. Nash runs off somewhere while Carter tries to get Jake off of me but nothing happened. All of a sudden I see an angry Hayes walk in, I guess that's where Nash went. He didn't say anything he just ripped Jake off of me and started beating the shit out of him. This isn't the best time to say this but when Hayes is angry he is really hot. Carter pulls me to the side to see if i was okay and so that i wouldn't have to see Hayes beating anybody up. After that Carter broke up Hayes and Jake. Hayes came over to me and gave me a huge hug. Carter took Jake and threw him out.

Hayes P.O.V

"Who the fuck was that?" I asked Nicole

"Jake" she replied

"Jake from state farm?" I joked

"No stupid Jake my ex-boyfriend, Jake the douche!"

"Oh" I didnt know what else to say. I carried Nicole over to her bed since she was sitting on the floor. I placed Nicole on her bed and cuddled up next to her while she cried. It broke my heart seeing her with Jake so i broke his nose. Nicole means everything to me. I love her.

"You what?" Nicole asked

"What do you mean?" I asked confused

"You just said 'I love her', were you talking about?" she asked

"You... I was talking about you, Nicole... I love you" I said and she looked shocked

"I'm sorry Nicole. I knew it was to soo-" she cut me off

"No Hayes, it's not to soon, I love you too" She said and we both started leaning in, we kissed. BAM! sparks, it was amazing. The best kiss i ever had. We broke apart but kept our foreheads touching. I laid her down so she could sleep and made my way to the door

"Please stay" Nicole said grabbing my arm

"Of corse" I replied as I climbed in bed next to her warping my arm around her waist.

"I love you Hayes" Nicole said as she intertwined out hands and kissing them

"I love you to babe" I said kissing her temple. this right her was the perfect moment. I wish we could stay like this forever but at least we have tonight.
