Chapter 10

Nicole P.O.V

We were half way through The Sandlot when I my phone rang. I looked at the caller I.D. to see it was my mom calling me I answered quickly because she rarely calls me.

M: Nicole, Nicole dear please come quickly, you need to come quickly

N: Mom what's going on. where do I need to go

M: Your dad he was in an accident hurry to the hospital please hurry

N: Okay I'm on my way

With that the line went dead. I shot up out of the bed and grabbed my shoes while getting looks from the others.

"Whats going on babe" Hayes asked concerned

"My dad was in an accident and we need to go to the hospital like now" I said quickly but I guess they understood since they were now grabbing their shoes not even bothering to put them on.

(at hospital)

When we got there I saw my mom standing there with a blank look on her face and that's when I knew something was worse then what she had told me on the phone.

"Mom? Mom, what's wrong?" I asked not sure if I wanted the answer or not

"Your dad... sweetie your dad is... he's dead" she said while crying

"What no this can't be possible... it just can't be" I said as I sobbed into Hayes' chest

"Nicole I know your upset but you need to wake up" Hayes said

"What do you mean?" I asked

"You need to wake up" he said again

"I am awake" I said confused

"No your not, wake up" he said and with that I woke up in my room in New York. It was all just a dream? That felted real, I should have known that I was never going to see Hayes again let alone date him. I look love at my clock to see that it is 5:30 in the morning. I check my phone to see that I have a message from Hayes.

From Hayes: Hey, I know we haven't talked in a while and I guess I just missed talking to you

To Hayes: Hey, I was actually planning on texting you later any way. I had a really weird dream and you where in it so um yeah

From Hayes: No way, you where in my dream to.

To Hayes: Well as much as I enjoyed our little chat I have to get ready for school so bi

Forme Hayes: Okay bye :/

Well that was interesting. I got up and showered since I felt icky. Once I got out of the shower and got dressed in light blue skinny jeans, a white flowy tank top with a pink bandeau underneath. I quickly put my hair in a side braid and went to wake up Caitlynne. She has been living with me and my parents for awhile since her parents threw her out. I open her door to see she is already up and dressed.

"Wow am I seeing things or are you up on your own?" I say sarcastically

"Haha very funny" she replied

"Omg I had the best dream" I explained

"Omg tell me" she said mocking my over excited tone

"Well I was dating Hayes and you were dating Nash and we were best friends with Denise and Victoria" I said kinda fast

"Wait Denise as in Denise Reynolds, the one who is dating Matt?" she asked

"Yeah" I said

"And Victoria Espinosa? the one who is dating Shawn Mendes" she asked. I checked my phone to see that it was 7:20 and school starts at 7:30 so we were running late

"Yes and now let's go were gonna be late if we keep talking" I said as I was walking out the door.

"Yeah yeah but we will continue our conversation later" she said and we left
