> Jimmy's POV <

"Jimmy.. Jimmy, wake up." Someone shook me awake. I peeled my eyes open glancing over my shoulder to see who was waking me up at this ungodly hour of the morning.

I looked over at the alarm clock, groaning as I read 3:45am on its screen.

"What the fuck Syn! Go back to your so called girlfriend and leave me to sleep."

I pulled the cover over my head as I heard him sigh.

"Don't speak about her like that." I heard him mumble.

"She doesn't even care for you, I don't know why you're still with her." I bit back.

"I came in here for a reason. It's Scarlett." That immediately got my attention and I sat up in a hurry.

"What about her? Is she alright?" I fumbled around pulling on a t-shirt.

"Geez Jimmy calm down. She's fine."

"Then what's the problem? Can't it wait till morning?"

"No, it cannot. She woke up about an hour ago as doesn't want to be alone. But, for obvious reasons, I can't stay with her."

I smirked.

"Girlfriend holding you back?" He only glared at me before diverting his gaze.

"Why'd she wake up?"

"Said she was in pain."

"Yea, heartbreak." I mumbled.

"What?"

"Nothing. You really believe that's the reason, Syn? I don't doubt she's in pain but she went to bed perfectly alright to spend the night by herself. Now she's awake and not wanting to be left alone, put two and two together."

I exited the room leaving him standing there and made my way down the hall. I stopped outside Scarlett's door knocking on it.

"Come in, Rev." I smiled opening the door. Her tiny body lay in the bed. She looked sick and heartbroken. Completely and utterly, heartbroken.

"Finally figured it out, eh?"

She just smiled and nodded.

"I believe I have been summoned."

"I believe you have." I slipped into the bed next to her.

"What's got you up so early, pretty lady?" I laid down facing her.

She seemed to hesitate before replying.

"Just in pain, that's all."

She diverted her gaze.

"That excuse may work for Syn but it's not going to work for me."

She stayed quiet seeming to put together a response.

"I had a dream." She finally spoke.

"Well, more like a nightmare actually. It just seemed so real, y'know. I was walking with Daniel and there there was a car and next thing you know I was on the ground. Then I woke up."

I looked at her unsure of what to say. Things were slowly coming back to her, just like the doctor said would happen.

Her hand came up from under the sheets to push a piece of hair always from her face. I grabbed her hand and stroked it with my thumb lightly.

"Why don't we get some rest and we'll talk about it in the morning."

She only nodded, her green eyes looking into mine.

"Just please don't leave me." Tears started to form in her eyes.

"I promise you I'll be here when you wake up, okay? I'm not going anywhere."

Her eyes drifted close and her grip tightened on my hand.
