Glow and Rise

P: "Heeeeyyyyy!!"
E: "Ah-!"

Emerald quickly sat up.

P: "I didn't expect you to sleep! Well, it's good for you. The way here must've been pretty stressful, huh."

It took Emerald a little bit of time to remember where he was. He rubbed the back of his head.

E: "Indeed.."
P: "Anyway, would you like to come hang out at the dinner table? Not like we're going to eat anything, but you get the point."
E: "Y-yeah, sure."

Pezzotsite took Emerald's hand and pulled him up.

Emerald walked to the dinner table with Pezzotsite. The table was behind the hall. Everyone was there, including Howlite's, Amethyst's, Red Coral's, and Cherry Quarts' gems. Emerald sat to the table with Pezzotsite. Labradorite looked away.

HTP: "It's a nice day today. Much warmer than yesterday."

Emerald nodded.

Jules: "Very much so. I love days like these. The perfect weather for training."
E: "What do you train with?"
J: "With these!"

Jules summoned his weapons, crystal knuckles.

E: "Woah, those are good for close combat."
J: "Yeah! That's one of my strengths. And mostly my fighting style."

Emerald sighed

E: "If only I could fight. I only have this... zapper or whatever."

He summoned the zapper from his gem. Labradorite snatched it away from him instantly.

E: "H-hey!"
L: "No Homeworld weapons allowed. Especially these."

They snapped the zapper broken from the middle.

E: "Aaaand my only weapon is destroyed. Alright.."

Emerald leaned against his arm. He was a little bummed out.
Everyone was quiet for a while.

M: "So, uhm.. Are we going to go look for more gems toda-"
L: "No. Not if they're like him."

Labradorite threw the broken pieces of the zapper onto the ground.

HPT: "Stop being so rude, Labradorite. He's done nothing."
L: "You wouldn't understand."
HPT: "He's the first Homeworld gem we've catched so far. You can't continue behaving like this."
F: "In my opinion, they behave like this to everyone."
L: "I'm not doing anything wrong! I'm just.."
E: "Anxious?"

Labradorite looked at him.

L: "I-I... guess so.."
E: "It's alright. You have the right to be."

Labradorite looked at him in suprise. Then they looked like something was wrong.

L: "E-excuse me."

They flew off.

F: "Huh. I wonder what that was. They don't do that often."
E: "Should I go check on them?"
F: "I suggest you don't. They'll probably just yell at you or something."
E: "R-right."
M: "I hope they're alright."
HPT: "I'm sure they are. They're strong. And nothing too serious seemed to happen."

They talked about some stuff for sometime. Suddenly the Red Coral began to glow, and rise. Suddenly her physical form popped into existance. She looked around.

Red Coral: "W-where's Cherrie ?!"

She looked around as she panicked. When she saw Cherry Quarts' gem on the pillow next to her, she began to sob uncontrollably while hugging her gem.
Pezzotsite was also getting emotional over this, and she began to cry as well.

P: "I'm sorry."

Pezzotsite covered her mouth as she cried her sympathy cry.
Everyone else was looking a little blue as well, but no one was as emotional as Pezzotsite.
The second gem to reform was Howlite. Her gem began to glow and rise as well, but her physical form formed a lot more smoothly than Red Coral's.

H: "W-woah, what happened here?"

Everyone just rubbed the backs of their heads or looked away, avoiding the question. Except for Red Coral. She was still crying after her loved one, which reformed soon after Howlite. Everything went as smoothly as ever. Cherrie hugged Red Coral tightly.

Cherry Quarts: "Oh dear I'm so happy to see you!"
RC: "I can't help but say the same, Cherrie!"

Red Coral chuckled happily. After a while of snuggling and hugging, Emerald became curious.

E: "Wait, wait wait. So you two... form Rhodochrosite?"

RC: "We sure do!"
CQ: "Do you want to see?"
E: "Uhm.. sure."

Red Coral and Cherry Quarts hugged eachother real tight, and so they fused. Rhodochrosite smirked.

R: "Pretty amazing, isn't it?"
E: "It -it is."

He smiled a little.

H: "He's going to fuse with anyone anytime soon."

Howlite whispered to Moonstone next to her, which chuckled a little.

M: "I doubt it."

She whispered back.

Sorry this part was a little bit shorter than the other ones. This part is mostly just dialog, and it's such a pain for me, so I ended this a little short. I'll try and add some action into the next part!
