Traitor

The trip was going great. They were having fun, even Labradorite. Emerald had never seen them smile like that. Everything was going fantastically, until a huge astroid was about to hit the ship. Howlite was fast enough to avoid it though.

H: "Woah, where did that come from?"
E: "Pretty sure it came from the asteroid zone. Though they don't usually come here..?"
P: "Is it just me, or is there a ship between Mars and the asteroid zone?"
H: "Woah, yeah. There is something. Let me take a lil' look."

Howlite zoomed to whatever there was. It was, indeed, a ship. A Homeworld ship.

H: "Uh... There is no other way to say this but there's a Homeworld ship near Mars."
P: "We-we need to hide!"
L: "Shoot."
H: "W-what?"
L: "I said shoot the ship down! It's on the perfect range!"
H: "But there's gems inside and-"
L: "They are the problem! Just shoot!"
H: "I won't!"

Labradorite unfastened their seatbelt and came to the ship's cab.

L: "I said shoot!"

They pressed a button, and the ship launched a rocket at the Homeworld ship.
The ship shot the rocket before it hit it. It began to fly faster.

H: "Now look what you've done! That was a horrible idea!"
L: "I imagined it to go differently!"
H: "You should think a little more before doing something like that! Now it's sure that they'll come and attack us!"
L: "Stop yelling at me! I only did what I thought was the best!"
H: "But wasn't! Go back to your seat!"
L: "You're not the boss of me!"
H: "Go!"

Howlite pushed Labradorite away from the cab. They glared at Howlite, and then went back to their seat.

P: "Everything will be fine. Everything will be fine. Everything will be fine..."

Pezzotsite was repeating, in order to calm herself down.

L: "More like we'll all get shattered."

Pezzotsite closed her eyes and tied her arms around herself.

E: "Quit it, Labradorite. They won't shatter us. I'm a Homeworld gem, I'll talk to them."
H: "You will not talk to them. They'll just take you away."
L: "Or worse."
H: "So you'll stay here with us, and we'll think of a solution. Going back to Earth isn't an option."
L: "Let's fight!"
H: "No! Don't you see what that caused?"

The ship was nearing them.

P: "Let's just flee!"

Pezzotsite cried out. And so Howlite did. She turned the ship a little bit to the East and flew as fast as the ship could go. The Homeworld ship followed.

P: "Slow down! Slow down!"
H: "We can't go any slower or they'll catch us!"
L: "Let me do this."

Labradorite opened the ship's skylight, and summoned their weapon. It was a dark-colored gun, with spikes all around it. When Labradorite fired, hot boiling water flew towards the Homeworld ship. In the coldness of space, the water turned into bits of ice. The Homeworld ship's windscreen began to gain little cracks when the bits hit it.
Pezzotsite and Emerald watched. Pezzotsite smiled, but Emerald covered his eyes. He began to remember the image of his broken ship, and he couldn't stand it, so he had to stop looking. Labradorite kept firing, until the ship activated it's defense system. Two huge machine guns were pulled out from its sides.

L: "Welp, looks like my time's up."

The ship began to fire, poofing Labradorite.

P: "Labradorite!!"
