What now?

Unakite was on the ship's roof, thinking of what she should do now. Getting in the ship would be difficult without anyone noticing, let alone getting Emerald and Small out of there. She knew that Howlite was following her a few dozen meters away, but she didn't want to destroy the ship completely with Howlite's ship's rockets, as it would also put Lapis and Emerald in danger. Maybe we should wait until we get to Homeworld so when no one's in the ship, we could attack, Peridot thought. Let's jump through the already-broken-windscreen and get our friend's back! Pezzotsite thought. They simply just couldn't come up with anything better, so they decided to implement Pezzotsite's plan. Unakite waited for the right moment, and jumped through the windscreen. She shattered the control panel completely, and the ship went out of control. It began to spin around aimlessly, and soon crashed into a lone asteroid. Topaz and Vermarine poofed, but Rhodium was able to keep her physical form in one piece.
Unakite noticed Emerald's gem in the locker and quickly took it out of there, but before she pulled back, Rhodium grabbed her wrist into a tight grip and punched her in the face, shattering her visor. Rhodium summoned her weapon, a spear, and pushed it straight into Unakite, separating Pink Opal, Rutile and Peridot from eachother.
They quickly got back together and reformed Unakite. She hit Rhodium with her arm extension, and she had to let go of Unakite's wrist. Unakite pushed herself away through the broken windscreen, and bubbled Emerald. She sent him home. She then glanced upon Rhodium.

U: "Where's Lapis Lazuli?!"

Unakite yelled to Rhodium. Rhodium smirked.

RD: "He was shattered by Emerald!"
U: "What?!"

They were separated once more.

PD: "He betrayed us!"

Peridot sobbed. Tears swelled into Pezzotsite's eyes as well. Howlite saw the two cry a couple of meters away from the villain ship. She flew the ship next to them, and opened the door. They got in.

H: "Woah, what's up with you two?"

It took sometime for them to answer the question.

PD: "Small is dead!"
H: "What?!"
P: "Emerald shattered him!"

They continued to sob. Howlite was trying to understand what she was just told. Emerald shattered Small? Howlite looked down at the control panel in front of her. No way, he's too much of a softie to do that. There has to be an explanation. He wouldn't do that, Howlite thought. She started flying the ship back towards Earth.

H: "Who told you this?"
P: "R-Rhodium!"
H: "Hey, hasn't Rhodochrosite taught you that you shouldn't believe what Homeworld gems say? They're just tryna make you vulnerable."

No one answered. The two just kept crying. Howlite sighed.

H: "You know, maybe you should stop weeping now. We have absolutely no evidence that he was actually shattered. We can ask Emerald once we get back on Earth."

The way back to Earth lasted for two hours, but it felt like an eternity. Especially to Fluffy.
Howlite landed the ship next to the Crystal Gems' base (aka the hall). Everyone was already waving at them down there, including Emerald. Small wasn't there. Fluffy let out a sorrowful sigh.
Howlite opened the ship's door, but no one was willing to go out.

H: "Come on, guys. Now we'll finally know what happened to Small. Why aren't you getting down there?"

Both were still silent, but Pezzotsite decided to get up and go down to the other gems. Fluffy leaned against her arm and looked at them, but didn't look like she was about to get up anytime soon. Howlite sat onto the seat next to her.
