Yeon Na's POV

Few years later....

I kissed dad's cheek before heading out of the house but before I could, dad grabbed my wrist and placed his mug down on the dinning table. I looked down at him with a questioning look though I had an idea what he was going to say.

"Did you bring extras?" He raised a brow. I sighed and pulled out a assuring smile.

"Of course I did." I answered him and used my free hand and pressed on his eyebrows smoothing them out. "You'll grow lots of wrinkles if you continue furrowing your eyebrows."

His serious and concern face turned to a soft one. "Good girl."

"Yes. Your daughter is a good girl." I praised myself as I held dad's hand that was still holding my wrist. I released that hand from my wrist and placed it on my head, controlling it and making him pat my head. Dad chuckled and my ruffled my hair with that hand. "Yes yes of course. Now hurry off to school. You wouldn't want to be late on the first day of the year."

He pushed my back towards the door while staying seated. I tidied my hair and waved at Dad before leaving the house.

Be it in the comic or reality, Dad still managed to be successful which makes me look up to him. Actually, even if he wasn't working at a very serious job, I would still look up to him.

Then, I suddenly thought of mum. Mum, it's been many years.

My nose felt stuffy and I sniffed to clear it. I wiped the small tears that had form on the side of my eyes. I placed my hands in the pocket of my jacket as I look straight. Then, I heard shouts from behind me. People in front of me looked behind me and were calling out to me.

I looked behind to see a boy riding his bicycle down the slope, going down at a fast speed. He was headed towards me, swerving sideways as he tried to slow down and stop.

I could not control myself to move. I could not react fast enough. I closed my eyes tightly and looked down, waiting to get hit. Instead, someone grabbed my arm and pulled me to the side. My eyes flew open. The guy slammed me to his chest while trying to save me. I looked up at him and his gaze at the guy on the bicycle turned to me. His annoyed face turned to a concern one.

He pulled out from that position and held my shoulders. I looked behind me and saw that guy on the bike on the floor before looking back at the guy who saved me. His uniform was from my school. "Are you alright?" He asked, eyes full of concern.

I nodded still a bit in shock. I moved back releasing his grip on my shoulders.

"Y-Yea thanks." I bowed 45 degrees, thanking him while still in a daze. I continued my way to school leaving that guy there. I checked my wrist in case the count down started. Thank goodness it didn't.

I walked towards the guy who almost hit me and knelt in front of him. He looked afraid.

"A-Are you alright? You shouldn't be riding so dangerously." I was still in a state of shock. I handed him a tissue from my bag. This guy's uniform was also from my school.

"S-Sorry Yeon Na." The guy apologised and I just nodded my head as I continued digging my bag from my plaster.

I looked up confused and looked at him. "Do you know me?"

"Not really but I've heard of you. You are quite popular." He explained and my mouth opened slightly as I nodded. He wiped the blood on his knee with the tissue I gave him. He winced a bit and pouted. I took out my Totoro plaster and handed it to him.

"Hope you learnt your lesson." I gave him a small smile before getting up and walking away, continuing my journey to school. I took out my earpiece and wore them as I strolled to school.
