3rd Person's POV

Jae Sang watched as Yeon Na loses her consciousness. He shakes her, begging her not to close her eyes. He holds her as she completely loses consciousness. He noticed how she held her chest and wrist in pain before dropping to the ground.

"Yeon Na! Wake up!" He shouted continuously shaking her. He looked around to see if anyone was around. Everyone had already left and either ways he purposely brought her there since he knew that students from that area where released early.

He carried her bridal style planning on carrying her to the infirmary though it was not near so he decided to run. Students that were still around gave him weird looks while clearing a way for him.

Suddenly, Yeon Na gained a bit of consciousness and slowly blinked her eyes open. She felt uncomfortable, she felt dizzy from the fact she was going up and down. Her head was spinning, her heart was squeezed tight. Then, she realised that Jae Sang was carrying her and that he was running.

The pain felt familiar and it hit her, it was the same feeling she felt 10 years ago when she first found out about her 'disease'. The pain was unforgettable for her.

"J-Jae Sang..." She weakly called out to him. He stopped running catching his breath with eyes wide.

"Yeon Na! Are you alright?" He asked with concerned in his eyes. She looked at her wrist checking the count down. 4 minutes and 43 seconds...

"I won't be...in 4 minutes time." she breathed out her words trying to bare the pain in her chest. The pain becomes harder to bare as time goes by.

"What is that supposed to mean? But nevermind, I'm taking you to the infirmary." He huffs before beginning to run again.

"No..." she groaned. "Don't. Just... Just bring me up to the roof."

He stopped and look at her, confused. "Just trust me, please. I'll explain everything if I...don't die." she cut him from asking any questions. She had noticed him carrying her bag which had my syringe inside. "Please hurry!" she groaned in pain again.

He groaned in distressed before he quickly ran up the stairs to the rooftop. He carefully placed her on the bench. She felt too weak to move or maintain her balance but Jae Sang managed to catch her before she fell.

He sat next to her, allowing her to lean against him for support. "What now Yeon Na?" he hurriedly asked.

"... Grab m-my bag. Front pocket. I have a syringe inside. Pull out my sleeve and inject it into my arm." her words were all breathy while she tried to explain as much as she could as the pain was slowly taking away her speech.

Jae Sang quickly grabbed her bag opening the front pocket with quivering hands. He took the syringe and pulled up her sleeve. He pulled up her right sleeve where her birthmark was. His eyes grew wide. "hurry... " she mumbled.

He saved his questions for later and injected the syringe. "What now?" he asked putting the empty syringe aside.

"I don't really know what happens now but... I may..survive...  " she trailed her words as she lost consciousness again. She couldn't bare the pain anymore.

Jae Sang was very worried. He was sweating but the cool air at the rooftop blew them away. His heart kept beating hard against his chest. He sat there watching her on his shoulder. Her face was pale and her lips where slightly chapped. He sweep her hair covering her face, tucking it behind her ear to admire her face more. He almost forgot about all the dying questions in his head. He took of his blazer and wrapped it around her, making sure to keep her warm in this cold weather.

He decided to wait until Yeon Na hopefully woke up. She had a pulse and he would take her to the school infirmary but seeing how even though she seemed like she was dying, she insisted on going up here so he concluded not to do so and just trust that she will wake up. He had a feeling that would take a long time so he made sure to text his driver that he was still in school and would come out late.

Yeon Na's POV

I opened my eyes slightly to see the sky is slightly dark. I tried moving but my body felt numb but still I tried to get up. First, tried to move at least my hand. Soon, I was stretching my fingers. Then, I tried to move my head. My neck was aching. Wait, what's my head resting on?

I tried moving my head up. Then, only then, could I feel something heavy on my head. I didn't care as my neck was aching like hell. I moved my head up along with the weight. I looked beside me to see Jae Sang who just woke up. That means his head was on mine and my head was on his shoulders. The thought of that made me feel a weird feeling.

"Your awake." Jae Sang said in a husky voice probably cause he just woke up. I nodded. My throat felt dry and so did my lips. I went to my bag to take out my water bottle dropping the blazer arund my shoulders. My throat was on fire. Unfortunately, my bottle was empty. I licked my lips which was of no help. Jae Sang was staring at me the whole time. An idea came to mind but I didn't dare. I just looked at him before picking up my bottle to go down and refill it.

Before I could past him, Jae Sang grabbed my wrist to stop me. I looked at him as he took out his bottle and held it out for me. I looked at it, my pride holding me back.

"Just take it. I bought it but haven't opened it yet." he assured me. I took the bottleand sat next to him again, drinking it.

"I know that this may be the worst timing but can you please explain what just happen." Jae Sang asked with desperate eyes picking up his blazer on the floor and wrapping it aound me again. I flinched as he did so but realised his good intentions and relaxed. Why did he seem so desperate?

So... I told him the main parts. "So you are telling me that you randomly got a countdown on your wrist where your birth mark is when you were 7. And that you wear long sleeve all the time to cover it not a scar?" he said out loud for himself and for assurance so I nodded.

"You've been having it since then? I'm assuming it has gotten worse?" he asked. I opened my mouth to answer but instead I sighed and nodded.

Honestly, I was nervous as hell. He would be the only person that knows about this that isn't family or my best friend Hye Rin and I didn't know what to expect of his reaction. He could just laugh at me, run off and tell the whole school, something I've avoided for almost 10 years.

"That must have been torturous?" he stated and I let out a small laugh.

"Tell me about it." I smiled and he smiled in return.

"Thanks... For telling me." he thanked with a sincere smile. Why does this seem like the only sincere smile he made to me or anyone?

"I'm really very sorry about just now." He apologised again. ah i almost forgot about that. "It's just that I have a past of someone always keeping things from me." He explained looking up as he breathed out and we could see the smoke of his breath in the cold air.

"You know what? Since you've explained yourself, I'll be honest too. I mean it's only fair right?" Jae Sang immediately smiled sweetly as he looked at me. I teasingly smiled as though I was in thought.

"I mean you don't really have to. I don't really want to know." I jokingly said though I was dying of curiosity. I just wanted to tease him a bit.

"Oh come on. I'm sure you do." Jae Sang said as he leaned in and winked at me making me break into laughter. "You genuine laugh is adorable."

I cleared my throat trying to ignore that statement before changing the topic, "So, tell me about yourself."
