He's my King and I'm his Queen

Chapter 9

Azalea's POV

        I looked out the windows for a possible garden. I spotted one and ran down the hall to find it, but then I realized I didn’t know how to get there. As I ran I saw two little children run out of their corridor. I quickly came to a halt before I collided with them. They were twins, a boy and a girl. They looked at me and I could tell just by looking at them that they were Christopher’s brother and sister. They both looked like the queen. The twins both had ash blonde hair but while the boy had aquamarine eyes, the girl had her father’s sapphire eyes. The boy hid behind the girl and the girl instantly started bombarding me with questions.

      “Your dress is different. You are different. Who are you? Where are you from? Where are you going?"

      Despite myself, I started laughing. The girl amused me and she reminded me of myself when I was her age. I remember how I would ask questions bluntly all the time when I was young. I smiled at her.

      “I’ll answer all the questions you want, but first, do you think you can take me to the garden?"

She looked at her brother and after he nodded his approval, she grabbed my hand and started pulling me as she ran down the hall. Her brother followed behind us as she led the way out the castle. When we reached the garden I immediately started my search.

            “What are you looking for?" The girl started asking.

            “A plant."

            “What kind of plant? Maybe we can help?"

            “It’s a pink flower surrounded by weird buds."

The twins started helping me until the boy found it. He spoke really softly.

            “Is this it?"

He pointed to the flower. I hastened over and examined it. I realized it was what I was desperately searching for. I hugged him gently and thanked him.
