Chapter 5

We pulled up to a very fancy restaurant.

"Wowwww" I said walking in. Happy led us to a private room. The whole entire restaurant was empty....weird....

"Mr. Stark they're here." "Hello Y/N and Ms. Y/LN." Mr. Stark said smiling shaking our hands motioning us to sit down.

"I am glad the trip here wasn't as grueling" He said laughing. "Well if you take out the jet lag Mr. Stark" I said. "Call me Tony" He said smiling.

"Alright Tony" Emphasizing Tony. "Again, thank you so much Tony for the dinner and everything, this is really great." My Mum smiled.

"You all are wondering why I called you guys out here, it's your father...."the file" I interrupted I could feel anger building up in me. "Y/N!" My Mum scolded. "No no no it's okay!" Tony insisted. "So you know?" Tony asked me.

"All I know is that 3 men killed my father last year over the stupid fucking file, so I think I know" I suddenly snapped. "Y/N!- Tony put his hand out towards my mother stopping her scolding.

Tony took off his glasses and leaned towards me. "File-"767" I interrupted. Tony raised his eyebrows surprised that I even knew the number. 

"Hydra" He said. That name. "They took it." I said trying to calm myself down. "Well here's the thing Y/N...they don't have it.....you do...." Tony said slowly but quietly.

"I-I don't understand" I said looking at my mum who was equally confused. My heart was beating 10,000 beats a second. "You have it...but we do not know where....we need your help Y/N."
"But how am I supposed to have it if I don't even know where it is?!" I said getting up.

"Tony, I think it's time for us to leave, we can't do this." I said getting up grabbing my bag.

"Y/N....." My Mum said motioning me to sit down. "You're not coming?" I said. I suddenly realized she was in this also. "No..no no no...I-I can't Mr. S- Tony, I'm only 17-" "Calm down it will be fine" Tony said trying to reassure me.

"It's going to be a long process, and it will be hard....but in the end we will be able to defeat Hydra and get justice for what they did to your father."

I sat down and stared at the ceiling blinking away tears thinking. "Fine"
"Great!" Tony clasped his hands together smiling at my mother. My mum looked back at me and smiled.

"Where do we even start." "Well you will still be attending school but I'll have Happy be driving you and picking you up....he will basically be your personal security guard." Tony said.

"Tony this was not in the job descripti-" Anyways", Tony interrupting Happy,"we will then bring you to one of our labs and we will see from there."

"I don't understand why do I need Happy?" "Hydra has eyes everywhere...if they find out you have it, with a snap of their fingers *snap*, they'll take you and use you for worse, do you understand?" "Y-yes" I said as shivers went down my spine.

God what am I getting myself into.......

"And this is top secret....you may not tell anyone...do not trust anybody" He said.

"Yes sir."

"Anyways I'm starving let's eat!" Tony said suddenly changing the mood. How does one man go from completely scary serious to fun awesome always wanted uncle in 1 second.

Well that's Tony Stark for ya. "How are you liking New York?" Tony asked. "It's alright, school is okay, It's better when I'm with friends" I smiled looking at my mum who smiled back.

"And who are these supposed friends."
"Peter Parker and Ned Leeds." Tony spat his drink out and violently started to cough.
"Did I say something?" "N-no it's just something went down the wrong pipe" Tony said wiping the tears off his face. "I heard that kid is very smart." He said.

"Yeah he's pretty much a genius" I said with a blush. Wait why am I blushing??" "I-uh heard he has a internship with you Tony" "Ah yes his smartness does come in handy....."

An awkward silence ensued.
"Oh Tony why don't you tell Y/N about the avengers!" My Mum said breaking the awkward silence.

The rest of the dinner consisted of funny conversations with Tony and my Mum. For the first time in a year I felt like I was in a family again........

Now where is that damn file?
