Chapter 32

"Y/N I want you to officially meet Pepper my hot wife" Tony smiled.

"Oh stop it Tony" Pepper laughed as she came over to hug me.

"Tony has told me so much about you and I'm so excited to finally meet you" She said.

"Nice to meet you too! I can't believe after all this time I've been here I have never got to meet you"  I said passive aggressively towards Tony.

"Anyways, I'll be around here more often just for extra protection" Pepper smiled.

"Extra protection? Are you like me?!" I said shocked.

"No", she laughed again, "we're having a baby" Pepper said holding Tony's arm.

"Surprise?" Tony weakly said.

"WHAT TONY WHY DID YOU NEVER TELL ME THIS! OH MY GOD I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU GUYS! TONY IS GOING TO BE A DAD? I'll say it, I never saw that one coming" I said calming down. I figured he did not tell me due to the nature of myself these pasts weeks.

"Shh shhh, you are the only one that knows so far, we want to surprise the rest of the crew!" Pepper said in a hushed tone. I felt honored to be the first one who knows.

"Oh my god this is so exciting! I promise I won't say a word" I said mimicking zipping my mouth shut.

"A boy or a girl?" I whispered.

"A girl" Tony said with a small sigh which in turn caused Pepper to lightly smack him.

"Even better!" I squealed.

"We are planning to tell everyone tonight for a little party we are putting on to celebrate the success of Bucky and your surgery" Pepper said.

"I can't wait! I'll see you guys there tonight!" After that was said I hugged the both of them and went to my room to catch a quick shower and maybe relax a bit before the party.

"Hey Henry?" I said laying down on my bed.

"Yes Ms.?" He responded.

"Call Pete"

It dialed for a minute before his voice mail came on.

I sighed and texted him for it was a little out of the ordinary not to answer:

Hey I'm bored and I wanna hang! ;)

I turned off my phone placing it on my nightstand.

I noticed the pile of homework I've been meaning to do for hours and finally picked up my pencil to do it.

"Henry will you help me out with this problem?" I asked looking up.

"I'm sorry Ms. I have strict instructions from Ms. Romanoff not to give you answers" he responded.

"Ugh fine" I decided to see if any of the others could help since Nat was on a mission until next week but left me with work to do.

I first knocked on Peter's door. He did not answer. Weird, I guess he's not home then?

I then walked over to our common area to see if anyone else could help.

Once I got there Bucky and Sam were playing a race car video game on the huge TV.

"On your left!" Sam yelled as he passed Bucky.

"God dammit Sam!" Bucky screamed as he tried to accelerate.

"Well it looks like someone is feeling better?" I chimed in sitting between them.

"Well now I'm wishing I still had it in my head so I could destroy Sam in this game!" Bucky said mashing his buttons on the game.
