Chapter 16

"Are you guys okay?" Steve said grabbing my head and moving it around for injuries.

"I'm fine!" I said shrugging him off.

Tony looked at the broken window.
"Turn her around" Steve and Tony crowded over me like two dads checking my back for injuries.

"I'm fine, I told you I'm fine" I said laughing swatting their hands away.

"Did you do this?" Steve said.

"Yeah we did" I said pointing to Spider-Man.

"Yeah! It was so cool, so she came flying like wshhh out of the window and then I caught her and then bam we flew back and she did a cool shield thing and then she caught me mid air!" Spider-Man said like an exciting 8 year old.

I turned to him. "Do I know you from somewhere?" I said laughing at his story.

"No" He said lowering his voice.
I raised my eyebrow and turned to Loki.

"What do we do about him" I said touching him with my foot.

"Put him in a cell, Thor will take it from there" Natasha said walking towards us.

"Ha! My brother was destroyed by children!" Thor roared.

"Ah! Lady Y/N my sincere apologies for my brothers actions." Thor said.

"Don't worry, he's....fun?"

"And I see he retrieved his other scepter." Spider-Man handed the scepter to Thor.
"I will make sure this goes into the right hands."

"Tony and Steve had told me a lot about you Lady Y/N! Asgardian?! Who would have known!" He said patting my back rather roughly.

"Haha yeah" I said awkwardly.

"I'll take you one day after Loki gets well or sane...whichever comes first." Thor dumbly smiled.

"Can I go?!" Spider-Man pitched in.

We all turned around towards him. He turned around too.

"Who said that?" He said scratching his head.

"Well exhausting day got to go bye!" He said running because there was no other place to sling a web.

"Strange little bug man" Thor said grabbing Loki and slinging him over his shoulder like a feather.

"I got to say I'm very proud of you today Y/N, you haven't even got any training in but you still managed to defend yourself." Steve said smiling proudly.

Peter ran out of the building.

"Y/N! I heard breaking of glass and explosions are you okay?!" He said.

"Yes I'm fine! Where were you when all of this was happening?" I asked.

"In the shower!" He blurted out.

"Woah okay, didn't need to shout it Pete" I said laughing.

"Alright enough play time kiddos let's go inside" Tony said.

I got a text from my best friend Y/BFN.

Y/BFN: Guess who's coming tomorrow?!

No way!!!!

Y/BFN: I miss you! And I heard many things about you!

Wait what do you mean?

Y/BFN: I mean how you live with Avengers duh!

Oh haha....

Y/BFN: I'll see you tomorrow. Love you!

"Why are you so smiley?" Pete asked.

"My best friend is coming in town! And she's coming to visit me!" I said shaking my phone.

"Awww I thought we were best friends." Pete said jokingly.

"Oh we are way past friends hun" I say as I turn the corner.

"Oh" was all Pete could get out because he was blushing like crazy.

"Y/N, let's get to training!" Steve said handing me work-out clothes.

"Right now?! I mean I just fought the biggest battle of my life!" I whined.

"I've seen bigger" Steve said pushing me into my room.

"I want you dressed and ready in the gym in 5 minutes" Steve said.

I saluted to him. "Yes Cap!"

A small smile tugged at his lips as he walked away.

"Well wish we could hang longer Pete but I've got training...." I said sighing at the end.

"I'll catch up with you after!" He said walking in the same direction as Steve.

I quickly changed into the clothes and put my Y/HL Y/HC into a messy ponytail and made my way to the gym.

I slowly opened the door to find that no one was in there.

"Hel-" Suddenly a huge force came down upon me pinning me on the ground.

"First lesson, be aware of all of your surroundings." Steve said getting off of me and helping me up.

"Yep I think I learned that one." I said wincing, rubbing my back.

"Alright first thing,  do 20 laps around the gym." Steve said.

"Twenty?" I said looking at Steve with big eyes.

"Yep, get to it kid!" Steve said walking to the other side setting up equipment.

After my 20 laps I collapsed on the ground.

"I am paralyzed" I said panting.

Steve walked over and attempted to throw a punch at me, I quickly put a portal beneath me and ended up in the other side of room standing up.

"Not so paralyzed now are we?" Steve said bringing a dummy towards me.

"Punch it" He said shortly.

I drew my hand back and punched it as hard as I could.

The dummy went flying across the room......

Steve didn't say anything. We just stood there dumbfounded at my punching strength.

"Believe it or not I'm not really surprised that happened." I said staring at the dummy.

"I agree, I can at least teach you how to get out of multiple fighting situations, like say you had three guys on you and........

The training went on for 3 hours and by the end of it I was so exhausted.

"Great job kid! I'll give you a break tomorrow, I just made you run 20 for fun." He said with a wink.

"God, I hate you!" I said lightly smacking him.

I took the longest shower that evening.
