Harry
"Why did you do that?" I look at him through my hooded lashes. I don't know why I did that. I didn't like the fact that he was blaming himself for my confusion. But, why did I kiss his hands? And why did I like it?

About to reply, he shakes his hand in front of my face, stopping my unsaid words.
"I'm trying to understand you. Before getting into this car and driving our way over here, I had made up my mind that I was going to stop pressuring you into being something you say you're not, but then you do this. You're confusing me." His tearful blue eyes stare at me for answers and I can't gather any words to help him understand.

"Like, what are you? I know you feel something when I, a guy, touches you. It doesn't have to mean you like me, but it can mean that you like the touch of another guy, and that goes against your argument of you being straight."

"I know." I croak.

"I know I was just crying about pressuring you, but I just want you to be honest with yourself. I know we always argue and I must seem annoying, but I just want the best for you, even if my way of showing it might not be the best."
He sighs, leaning back into the seat as he runs his hand over his face.

He looks frustrated, tired, and confused. Am I that confusing? I don't try to be. "I'm sorry Niall." He looks back at me and shakes his head, "It's okay, let's just go. We're gonna be late for your brothers play."

But, it's not okay. I want to stop him from getting out of the car. I want to confess my lies to him, but I know it's better this way, with him not knowing.

"Okay," He says awkwardly, once we're out of the car, "Can you show me some basic signs, so I at least know how to introduce myself." He laughs, lightening the mood a bit, but there's still a strong pull on my heart that is bothering me.

I look at him and he's looking at me with this hopeful face and I can't say no. "Okay do this is'nice to meet you'." I say and sign at the same time, not giving Niall enough time to copy my gestures. Sign Language just comes naturally to me.

"Wait, how?" He stops walking beside me, waiting for me to demonstrate again.

"Okay, so look, nice-," I say as I rub both my hands together, one horizontal and once vertical, slowly. Niall mocks my movements and I smile, "Perfect, to meet-," I continue as I close both my hands into fists with only my index fingers poking up, making both my fist meet.

Niall tries, "Only your index's point up, Ni." I correct, letting the small nickname pass my lips.

He tries again, perfecting it.
None of my friends nor Shawn has ever wanted to learn sign to be able to talk to my brother. Shawn never saw my brother much which made no reason for him to have to learn it, but when ever I showed him a sign or two, he'd forget it in an hour. He wasn't interested, unlike Niall, who's willing to go into an environment that is way out of his comfort zone, where he won't understand anything, makes me happy. He's no where near an insensitive person as he claims to be.

"you." I finish, pointing my index finger at Niall as he smiles pointing his finger back at me.

"Now try it all together." I instruct. "Don't talk, just sign." He nods at me before giving his hands a shake.
