I should've waited for the boys to be finished. I should've waited for Luke to help me. I should've waited for them to be at a hotel of something.

I was lost, currently wondering around the back stage of this massive arena, aimlessly looking for the right place to go.

Security was rather questionable here as I managed to get in no questions asked. No one was around.

I remembered that I was still wearing a wig so I quickly removed everything and placed it in my bag.

As I sat down on my half packed suitcase, I contemplated whether waiting here and asking for Luke to come and find me.

That idea quickly slipped my mind as I heard heavy footsteps coming down the hall. Quickly after, I recognised a very familiar boy holding a pair of drumsticks in his right hand. He back was turned to me as he walked in the opposite direction.

My heart jumped to my throat as my breathing was rushed. This was it.

"Yo drummer boy!" I called out as Ashton visibly jumped and turned to face me so fast I was worried that he had broken his spine.

He didn't dare move, holding my gaze. I couldn't read his look as he was standing about 10 meters away from me.

"Alithea .... What are you doing here?" he gulped. He clearly wasn't expecting me and was worried about my reaction.

"You're a fucking idiot you know!" I shouted. Ashton visibly flinched before I continued. "You made me go through hell. Your made me hurt. You humiliated me in front of millions of people. You left me."

"Alithea, please. I never meant to hu-"

"No! Let me finish. You let me go. That night, you could've made everything better but you let me leave. But that's not the worse part though. No. The worse part of this is that you made me feel like a fucking idiot because I love you too you assshole!"

I didn't waste a second before running to him and placing my lips on his.

Ashton did not disappoint as he immediately kissed me back, and grabbed my legs, placing them around his waist.

This was probably one of the most cliche kisses in history but all I could think about was his lips on mine and his touch on my body.

I never felt anything like this before. The kiss was rough, urgent, as if we only had a couple of seconds to live. We consumed each other.

This kiss was unfortunately short lived as we heard the boys coming down the hall. Ashton gently placed me on the ground and pecked my lips quickly once again.

"I love you" he said, looking deeply into my eyes.

"Thea you're finally here!" Luke ran up to me, enveloping me in a hug.

"Wait you knew about this ?" Ashton, Michael and Calum exclaimed at the same time.

"Well yeah, she had to tell someone" Luke answered as Calum and Michael pulled me into a hug of their own.

"So" Michael winked at Ashton and I "What are you guys up to?"

I became bright red as did Ashton.

"Oh you know, catching up and what not. Oh would you look at the time? Gotta Ashton's bandana!" I laughed nervously as I started walking off. In the wrong direction might I add.

I didn't make it far before Ashton grabbed my hand and pulled me to his side.

"You're not going anywhere" He whispered into my ear and I shivered "Besides, my hotel room is this way" He smirked at me.

Calum let out an overly exaggerated yawn and said "Wow I'm tired. Come on Luke and Mikey, we should probably get going"

All three boys left us in the middle of the hallway, alone once again.

"So... The show sounded great. At least it did from here. This hallway has great echoes! You should probably record something in here. I should probably record something here! Although I'm kind of terrified of this hallway right now... How is one terrified of a hallway? Wow I don't think I've ever said the word hallway so much before.. You know that weird feeling when you stare at a word too long or repeat it too much and it sounds weird? That's wha-"

Ashton cut off my rambling by kissing me again. This one was short and sweet unlike the last one. It left me very dazed.

"Wow I'm never going to get used to that" I said as I felt his thumbs stroking the exposed area of my lower back.

"Well you probably should Sunshine." He smiled at me. God I missed him

"Listen Thea.. I need to apologise for how I treated you the past couple of months, I-" This time it was my turn to cut him off with a kiss.

"Shut up. This story had been resolved and appart from being a coward and not telling me the truth, you did nothing wrong. So stop apologising. Now can we please get out of this creepy hallway?" I asked

He giggled and grabbed my hand as we made our way to the exit.
