I never really thought about the consequences of being on a boat with 5sos but I probably should've.
Michael was trying relentlessly to take the captain's place and steer the boat. Luke was dancing around on the edge of the boat, one misstep away from falling in the ocean. Calum currently had his head perched over the edge of the boat, emptying the contents of his stomach. And finally, Ashton was asleep his head resting on my stomach, preventing me from getting up.
Funnily enough, he did not fall asleep like this. We were casually sunbathing on this big matress, sun lounger thing in the center of the deck. At some point Ash fell asleep and started moving around a lot, until he finally found an apparently comfortable spot on my stomach.
I can't deny it, he looks adorable with his hair falling in his face and his lips slightly pouted.
I ran my fingers through his hair gently until I realised that I was probably being creepy. I could hardly contain myself around this boy and my feelings were starting to worry me.
"You both look cute" Ashley interrupted my thoughts, sitting down on the sofa opposite the sounlounger with Crystal.
"Not this again" I groaned.
"I have to agree with Ashley here. You guys look great together. And god knows you make him so happy". I blushed at Crystal's words and looked down at Ashton, still peacefully asleep.
"And he makes you happy too Thea. I haven't seen you this happy since before you started dating that fuckface" Ashley added.
I remained silent. In all honesty I didn't know what to say. I liked him, no doubt about that. But this all feels so different this time around.
I always enjoy keeping control over everything, knowing that everything is under control. But with Ashton, I had no idea. I didn't know how he felt, what he wanted, or even what I wanted.
All I know is that I liked Ashton Irwin a whole lot more than what I should.
