June's PoV
I woke up and yawned, and raised my fist to give Albert a 'Good Morning' punch in the arm. Then, I realized that I was about to punch Julian instead.
Oops.
He slept soundly, snoring lightly. I smiled. He was so fucking cute when he was sleeping. I carefully got out of bed, and slid downstairs quietly.
The tv ran softly, and Albert sat down on the couch, staring blankly at the screen.
"Good morning, Albert." I said, grinning cautiously as I leaped over the couch and flopped onto him obnoxiously.
Albert remained silent.
"What, are you giving me the silent treatment, Albert? Because I slept with Jules?" I guessed, probably hitting it right on the head.
Albert's eyes shifted towards me. They were clouded over, and it nearly startled me. I sat up, scooting towards him.
"Albert....what's wrong...?" I whispered, my heart sinking. He opened his mouth to say something, then, he clamped it shut. He shook his head, looking back at the screen.
"Albert. Don't you lie to me." I said softly and sternly.
"Besides, I can tell when you're lying, so there's no use." I added.
"Albert." I pried.
"I feel like I'm losing you, June." He said softly.
"Albert, huh..?" I asked, confused.
"Come on. Admit it, June. We've been drifting."
I remained silent. That was true. Ever since I began dating Julian, things have been different.
"What happened to our Friday nights, June? Those nights we would sit and go on Oxygen and watch corny soaps all night, and eat popcorn with chocolate syrup drizzled over it and sprinkles?"
I felt tears prickle at my eyes, but I quickly blinked them away.
"Albert, I-"
"Am I losing you..?" Albert asked, his voice cracking slightly. I shook my head.
"No, Albert." I said, throwing my arms around his neck. He hugged me tightly.
I pulled from him, nodding and smiling.
"Albert, you know I love you, bro. We can start hanging out more again."
Albert smiled.
"Awesome. So starting this Friday?"
I frowned.
"No, me and Julian are..." I trailed off, seeing Albert's face falling.
"Just kidding! You should've seen your face!!" I laughed, causing Albert to laugh out loud.
"You ass!~" Albert shouted, shoving me lightly.
"Ha, you know you love me!" I responded, grinning.
"Mhm." Albert answered.
