"Ha ha Calum!" She giggled, as I picked her up over my shoulders.

"What? What was that? I can't hear you!" I roared.

"Calu-" She hiccuped, "Put me down."

"Fine, fine."

I sat her down onto the section of the grass, next to our beer cans.

"Better?" I asked.

She smoothed out her curly light brown hair, "A lot better."

"But you have to admit. It was quite fun." I nudged her with my elbow as I sat down next to her.

She looked over at me and smiled that perfect smile of hers.

"I always have fun with you Cal."

"Haha is it because I take you here to get wasted all the time?"

"No? No. I have fun with you because your my boyfriend.... Who has good beer." She stuck out her tounge.

"My beer is pretty good... Courtesy from my Dad." I cracked up another can, and nodded towards her.

Melody started rolling around hysterical, laughing.

I hurried up and chugged my can, and threw it off in our pile towards the lake.

"Okay. Okay. That's enough Melody, lets get you home." I helped her up, but only for her to fall into my arms, and me on the ground.

"Woah. And that's enough for me too." I chuckled.

"Calum?" She looked up at me, her green eyes, surrounded in a puddle of red.

"Yea?"

"Can I stay the night at your place?"

I shook my head yes, "Sorry babe, no can do. My mum's home."

"She broke into laughter again, laying her head against my chest, "Oops! Ha ha ha! I mean...." She lowered her laughter, "I mean can you spend the night at my house."

"Ooooh. Yea. Yea. Yea." I smiled, laying a hand in her curls.

"We better get going then. It's getti-"She hiccuped again." Late."

She got up, stumbling a bit, and pulled out my phone to check the time.

2:53 am.

"Yeah. It's getting late alright."

I went to my mum's contact information, and shot her a text message to let her know I'm fine.

Mum:

Hey mum, I'm staying at Mikey's house, tonight x

I stood up, trying to balance myself.

"Woah."

My stomach was not feeling to well.

"Are you okay?"

"Yea, yea. Let's get going shall we?"

She smiled, and linked my hand, and we walked back to her house, which lucky for us, was literally right around the block. But we'd cut through the woods in her backyard, and end up on the opposite side of the lake. Aka our hang out.
