-Melody's POV

I walked into the living room to my parents,"Where am I supposed to meet him at?"

"The park by the lake." Dad said before he had took a phone call.

"What's even his name? How am I supposed to know what he looks like?" I asked already irritated.

"I told his parents to tell him to meet you at the yellow bench."

"Okay But his name?" I asked again.

"Luke."

"I'm off." I fished my keys out my purse and exited the house.

I got inside my silver Volvo, and suddenly I clammed up once i positioned my hands on the driving wheel.

Come on Mel, it's only one date. Its not even a date, your just meeting a family friend. That's all.

I took a deep breath and began started the car, to only be interrupted by the sound of my phone going off.

Cal ❤ : Hey there baby! Wanna hang out?(:

Me: Hey, but can't I have to go do stuff with my rents for a few -.- But maybe later?

Cal ❤: Oh okay, well txt me wen u can(:

I threw my phone into the passenger's seat, and drove off feeling guilty as hell for lying to Calum.

······

I parked my car and stood outside of it in search for the yellow park bench, I was to far to make out a face, but the guy was there.

I nervously walked to where this 'Luke' was, kicking this tiny gray pebble as I approached him to take my mind off things, but it didn't help.

"Hi?" A voice asked.

I looked at the boy, who was...Quite attractive. He wore blue jeans, and a short sleeved white t-shirt, along with a sleeve of tattoos, and a pair of brown timberland boots.

"Hi?"

He had a nice tan to him, with a freckle on his nose, a lip piercing, and hazel-ish brown eyes, with brown wavy hair.

"I'm Luke, and you must be-"

"Melody." I quickly spoke.

"Ah nice name." He smiled.

"So are you around here?" I asked trying to make small talk.

"Uhm actually no. I'm from Melbourne, but my parents are probably going to buy a house around here though." He brought up a hand to shield his eyes.

I sat down next to him, so he wouldn't have to keep looking up getting sun in his eyes.

"I heard its nice over there, but nice out here too. It wouldn't be that bad of a transition."

"Eh. Yea but the thing is I have a few of mates over there. Really don't wanna leave em ya know?"

"Yea, but its not that far away."

"Ha yea when you don't have a car it is." He laughed a little.

"Ha what you said."

"So your mum and dad wants to move out here?"

"Yea, but its all up to me though."

"I think you should, it's real nice here."

"Maybe... I'm still not sure."

"Maybe I can show you around here?"

"Sure, how about we start off here at the park?" I said getting up smoothing out my dark blue dress I wore with white vans and the sleeveless jean jacket to match.

"Sounds good to me." He smiled again.

We walked towards the field where most people play fifa at.

"So so you have any siblings?" He asked, breaking the silence.

"Eh, no. It's just me." I nodded, "What about you?"

"Yea I have two brothers."

"Older, younger?"

"Well Beau, he's the oldest, he's 21, and Jai, he's my age."

"So are you and Jai like twins or something?" I asked.

"Actually yea."

"Nice, ha so are we talking identical?"

"Yep. We look exactly alike. Except for the piercings and tattoos that is."

"Cool, so how old are you exactly then?" I questioned.

"19. You?"

"17."

We made it to the field of play, "So this is where all the action happens. Well if your into sports that is."

I turned around to see him smile at the place as if he never seen anything like it.

"It's nice."

"Yea, a lot of people come out here, but right over there behind all those trees is this garden type of scenery near this lake. It's really pretty."

"I'm pretty sure your prettier, but can I see it?" He winked making his way closer to me.

I backed away a little bit subtlely and walked forward, shouting behind me to follow.

He caught up to me, and smiled, "So is this place like secluded and discreet?"

"Eh I guess you can say that. Me and my bo- best friend go here all the time. Nice place to get wasted too."

"Nice to know." He nodded.

I pulled back a couple of vines, and let Luke walk ahead of me.

I tripped over this rock and almost hit the ground, until I felt a pair of strong hands catch me.

I looked up to find Luke smirking and looking at me, "You got to be more careful where you walk next tome babe."

"Babe?!"
